I thought I would review after finishing this story but by Merlin, I can't wait any longer. I'm enjoying this fic immensely, from the storyline to picturing the characters to clever and precise details. It has brightened last few days for me and I'm happy there are still few chapters ahead!

I loved it. A very different but interesting take on Hermione and Severus. I enjoyed the mystery and culture of the selkies. Very nicely done. Bravo.

This has been a delight to read; with each chapter I was so intent on moving onto the next that I forgot there is a "review" button at all, until here at the end.

This twist on Snape, this glimpse at what might have been, is beautiful and perfect and I can definitely see it happening. You make me more and more eager to wipe out certain parts of the books and just go with what you've written.

There were so many aspects to your story that I liked. The Saturday morning dueling sessions, getting to know the Selkie child, Syrena, an abrupt ending to Hermione's romance and renewed friendship with Ron and most definitely her relationship with Severus. okay so you completely threw me off with the water creature thing, where you got it, I have no idea...But it was AMAZING! I loved the whole story! It was one of the few well written and thought out stories I have ever read! I mean it! I absolutely loved it! I kind of want to print it out just so I have it in paper! I mean it was great! I could never have come up with anything even close to it! You did a really great job with it!

This was beautifully written. Not just in terms of the words you put on the page, but also the images and people you created with them. Loved it.

What a lovely story! It was a very sweet escape from all the horrors in the world. It just made me so... happy to read it! I think you were good at keeping them in charcater and it was a very interesting idea that Severus is a merman. That would explain why he never seems to fit in anywhere!

You are very good at writing and keeping the plot on track. This fic just seems so planed and yet you can't really know what will happen!
