Aaaand - straight to my fav folder! You did wonderful things with M's prompt. I especially appreciate the realism and humanity of people's interactions. It gets tiring to read artificial drama and bashing as a plot device replacing character development. And a special mention to your Snape. The characterization you went for is rare in the post-Deathly Hallows era and I enjoyed it very much.

I'm so sorry, I kept meaning to review each chapter but once I'd reached bottom I was desperate to keep going. This was such an original story that could so easily have been ridiculous and awful but you made it come alive! It was beautiful and so fun to read, it had everything needed for a truly interesting story. Some of my favourite things about it was the slow, believable friendship they built together while waiting for her schooling to end, and that there was no huge drama of a falling out between her and any of her friends. She and Ron were tense for a while but everything was dealt with carefully in an adult manner in the end.

This has got to be one of the most hauntingly beautiful SS/HG tales I have read, and I have read many, over the past decade or so. Now on the third reading, it is still as gently and soothingly strange and lovely as it was the first time. Thank you for writing this.
