Reviews for Curses, Foiled Again
Lizabeth S. Tucker chapter 1 . 1/8/2009
Scary, funny, and worth a revisit with another story in the future. Plus ya gotta love Frank and Mark tumbling like puppies in the wet leaves.
storyfan101 chapter 1 . 11/6/2008
I'm not too surprised by a haunted house in the same neighborhood as Gull's Way. I quite enjoyed every character's reaction to it and hope there can be a continuation next hallowe'en. I love a good spooky story.
smithcrafter chapter 1 . 11/3/2008
The only thing that might have improved that story (although I admit it would have been pretty predictable) would have been to end it with the guys hearing the sounds of fire trucks going past Gull's Way and pulling in at the haunted house.
JeanneZ84 chapter 1 . 11/2/2008
This was the absolute most wonderful Halloween story.

It was very spooky at first and mysterious.

Soon as Mark so Frank in the doorway and through the rest until they all re entered the house I laughed so hard out loud you would neve have believed it.

My mom heard me laughing and asked me what was so funny.

Geez the pranks those two and now added Frank to it are something never know what to expect next.

Just a wonderful story I could see all that was going on too.

Georgi1961 chapter 1 . 11/1/2008
Way too cute! I love these glimpses into their lives-especially those that showcase their respective senses of humor. Halloween was never really Mark's holiday-more of the Judge's, but he was up to the task.

...but I expected to see a shotgun! I guess the flashlight turned saber did the trick, though.

Just GREAT-and what good sports are friends are :-)
Jaz22 chapter 1 . 11/1/2008
Well, I didn't get to read this until the day after Halloween, but it was just right for keeping me in the 'spirit' of things. I chuckled my way through spooky stories and tables turned. Loved the thought of the three of them telling ghost stories on a dark and stormy night-Snoopy would be proud.
L.M.Lewis chapter 1 . 11/1/2008
Oh, no spoilers here. My lips are sealed. It's a double-whammy trick and treat. It's never too late for a really excellent ghost story and the repercussions thereof. Thanks much for this one and I am so very glad I stayed up long enough to enjoy it in it's proper setting.
owlcroft chapter 1 . 11/1/2008
Oh, we are definitely going to have to make Halloween stories a tradition around here! What a pearl of a story - _and_ it beat the deadline. You went way past the call of duty on this and don't think for a minute that we don't appreciate it. Terrific dialogue, a beautifully-executed plot, and who wouldn't love Frank being a big part of it. The paragraph that introduces him is one of my favorites; an extremely well-painted portrait! And the ending itself is perfect.

Words just fail me when I try to write how much I enjoyed this. It's Halloween and I haven't played any tricks so I deserve a treat. I'm going to go back and re-read it right now!
