| Velorien chapter 12 . 6/29/2013 Magnificent. Well-written, utterly hilarious, and interesting in its use of the present tense. The character interactions, and the unique comedy takes on the Akatsuki cast, are probably the best part, though the prose style is generally wonderful. And, with the exceptions I mention below, it's a crackfic that somehow manages to maintain suspension of disbelief while being utterly ridiculous in its content - the rarest and most glorious kind. The only thing that occasionally causes me difficulty is the detail of the background setting. It's forgiveable in a crackfic, but references to things like commonplace use of technology which would completely break the Narutoverse if it was available there (though canon has its share of that too), and open naming of real-world places and people, are like stones I stumble over as I read - they're not enough to reduce my enthusiasm for the journey, but they're inconveniences that detract from the quality of an otherwise amazing work rather than adding to it. P.S. The fact that you wrote most of this while you were 15 makes me sorely tempted to put down my keyboard and never write anything ever again. I salute your talent. P.P.S. Just one review left and you can have a nice memorable number. |

This is one of the funniest things I've ever read and didn't take immense concentration to read to get through spelling and grammar mistakes all over the place. This was a fantastic piece of crack ... and now I have to go read your other itasaku. Because it's hard to find well-written longer itasaku fics. |
