Really great take on the Edward and Bella story. The writing was superb and the story creative. I would have like to know what became of the vampire society and governence. I could have used a little more Cullen time too. All in all, really amazing! Thank you

there is no way this story has 14k reviews as it has to be one of the most terrible fanfictions i’ve ever read. i’m convinced these are fake reviews.

there is zero build up in bella’s meeting with carlisle… just blurts out “I KNOW YOU YOU’RE A VAMPIRE”

I'm really enjoying how Edward is portrayed here. The starting point seems plausible: he's had different experiences as a vampire, so rather than wallowing in self hatred, he just accepts he's a monster and that's that. Carlisle is great, but I can absolutely see his influence giving Edward the complex he had. This makes for a great starting point for a redemption arc, and heck, it fits canon: the Denali sisters came around to not killing humans because they got attached to the ones they seduced. I'm surprised I haven't seen more fics with a redemption arc for a dark!Edward, because it's nice to see.

I didn't take Bella for a boyfriend beater but daaaang... She really tried to hit him with her crutches lol. That scene was amusing to me because it reminded me of my grandmother. She was such a cute lady.
