excellent first chpt...you covered a lot of the setting of the story here. danzo is not out of the game yet...i think. I will read on to see how naruto comes out of all this...and how team 7 fits in.

Nice start, I could tell right away that Naruto is going to have a semi-better life, and Danzo is not part of the council thatnk god, I was starting to get tiered of that version.

I like the twist in this chapter, very well played sir, very well played.

Just wanted to say that I'm enjoying the story so far, and like the alterations to canon. The Uzumaki clan portion of earlier chapters did feel a bit rushed, but it was an interesting addition.

I'm going to keep reading, so please keep up the good work on the story.

A couple things to fix. The rank is Jonin, not Junin. Ichiraku's owner/chef is Teuchi, not Tenchu, and it's sensei, not sensai. Just a few either typos or misspellings, I don't know which, but those are some things to fix. Other than that, I'm enjoying this story so far.
