Hi Jess - I'm a little late to the game reading this story LOL. Back in the day, I was die hard BXE and would never even consider non-cannon couples. Ironically enough, there's a picture of me from 2009 wearing a team jasper t-shirt LOL. Since then, although I love the SM version, I've realized what a disservice she did to Jasper. The movies did even more of a disservice to him. I started reading JXB fan fic and haven't stopped in years. I have many favorite stories, I go between needing HEA to stories like this. Is the Volturi good or bad, do I hate Alice and Edward or love them LOL. I have to say that this is one of the best stories I've read. I do have a decent sized list of them, but only because I've probably read close to 500 JXB. This was a rough one, I won't tell anyone reading these reviews to try and decide if they should read this story that it's an easy read. BUT, it is absolutely beautiful and sad and healing. I lost someone in my life, well several someones, and the ache that never goes away flared up a bit. But, this story just shows that time and support is what is needed to accept what has happened and to realize that living life is the best thing we can do in the memory of those we love. 3

I've read so many Jasper Bella stories where I was so happy when Edward or Alice got axed. Not this one I'm crying by chapter 2.

This was such a moving and well written story. It's very, very rare for fanfiction to move me to tears but this did on more than one occasion.

Beautiful story, thank you. I am looking forward to the continuation of the story. Would love to see Bella and Edward return home to their family who must miss them. Also, wish B & J can kill those that murdered Alice and Edward.

I want to start by saying I am thoroughly enjoying this story. However, I doubt very seriously Jasper, a serious cowboy and Texan, would have wanted a European Sports Car. The Corvette, a Trans Am or another Mustang would undoubtedly been his choice.

This story is absolutely beautiful. I’ve been reading it off and on for the past 3 days, and when I’m not reading it, I’m thinking about it. I love the back and forth between memories and present time. It made me have a little sad smile. It’s honest, real, raw, heartbreaking, heart healing, funny.. It’s affected me. My stomach does a little twist just thinking about how much I can relate to this and your authors note. That part when Renee says “you got to rejoin the rest of the world. Life is waiting for you”.. I stopped and stared at that for a long time. I’m in tears right now. I’m not ready but I needed that. I’m not sure if you’ll even see this, but I want to thank you for writing and sharing such an amazing story. Thank you for this healing journey. I fucking love this story so much!
