Lalaith Yamainu chapter 1 . 1/13/2011 I would love, love, LOVE to see this continue. It's gorgeous as is, of course, but I can't help but want to know more! |
chibiaries chapter 1 . 1/5/2011 I really enjoyed this two-shot fic. It wasn't too angsty or fluffy-not that I don't enjoy a good fluffy Labyrinth fic from time to time-but it had a very matter-of-fact and wry tone. The humor was subtle, and I particularly loved the imagery of the Near Endless Plains in the last part. |
izzypop chapter 2 . 12/11/2010 This was absolutely amazing! |
mizgardenia21 chapter 2 . 12/4/2010 That was amazing. I've never seen anything like this before. And I've been lurking in this fandom for a little while now. This was good, an immediate favorite. |
csang chapter 2 . 11/29/2010 I don't know why it took me so long to find this story, but I'm awfully glad I did. At last a Sarah who's truly Jareth's equal- this is such a rare thing in Labyrinth fanfiction, and you do it with such lovely words, too. |
LadyRhiyana chapter 2 . 11/23/2010 I'd just like to say that I enjoyed reading this very much. The Underground world-building was new and intriguing, and your Jareth and Sarah kept me engrossed until the end. I especially loved the part where old Nasir finally regaining his poetry. That was a serious "awww" moment. Thank you for sharing. :) |
Beatrice Otter chapter 2 . 10/9/2010 I love this story, the worldbuilding in it. I don't know if you're planning on writing any more, but I hope you do-I'd love more detail in how Sarah collects her advisers and what each one brings to her kingdom. |
writertron chapter 2 . 8/23/2010 nice! the contrast between the (relatively) lighthearted first chapter and the (a little) more serious second was a but abrupt, but it ends wonderfully. me like. |
Lady Azura chapter 2 . 7/27/2010 Very nice! |
j chapter 2 . 7/16/2010 I have greatly enjoyed this story. I love how you weave the past, present, and future into it. Explaining events as they are, as they were, and as they are yet to be. The character analysis, while you said took a backseat to the world building, I think shined through the most. Particularly at the end where Jareth truly became aware of Sarah. It resonated more than when Sarah became aware of Jareth. Perhas simply because most people focus on Jareth winning of Sarah than his understanding of her, while they at the same time detail Sarah as understanding Jareth more than her winning him. I like Sarah's idea of equality both win and lose something to gain something even greater. The bit about Jareth and his magic was fascinating. How his powers grew so beyond him that time itself was effected. That Sarah was the one who started his journey to controlling that insane power. Really this has been such a fascinating read on character. The word building was there, and came through strongly, but I still felt that the characters really made this story glow. Gave it the details. ;) |
Locura chapter 2 . 5/11/2010 Fourth time I've read this story and I still love it. |
a chapter 2 . 4/17/2010 This is one of my favorite Labyrinth stories ever. I just love it. So much I can't really describe it. Thank you so much for writing it! |
Elocin chapter 2 . 2/8/2010 Exquisite. From the moment I entered this story I was carried along by waves of wild magic. I could see and hear and feel each detail in Sarah's kingdom as clearly as if I were standing there myself. Thank you for writing this, it is indeed a magic story. |
hercat chapter 2 . 1/22/2010 What a wonderful story. This is the perfect continuation to the movie. |
Hecateisawesome chapter 2 . 1/15/2010 I find the interactions in your story are realistic and the world is constantly growing and changing. The only part I think could use improvement is that the story itself feels as if it were cute short. ~ “why? I hold you to your agreement, but still, why? After all this time, why now?” Her first response was practically an automatic and dry. “Because it never came up in conversation before.” |
