Woohoo! Glad you are back safely. as the chapter, you really have to feel for Konoha. I mean, when it rains, it just pores on them! Fascinating battles, and at least Danzo is down 2 elites with those troublesome abilities.

This is an amazing story! I read it in one sitting since the last chapter. When I saw that you had posted I stopped everything I was doing and read it! This is my most favorite story about Naruto leaving the village and making his own village. I cannot wait for more! Keep up the awesome work! :)

OK, I'm on Chapter 3. I haven't read everything else yet, but holy crapbaskets I am intrigued! Great plot so far, decent character development, and everything else is above average. Now you've probably grown as a writer just by putting more words/chapters into this - everybody does just by writing more, but I have a bit of a tip for my only gripe:

The story seems a bit rushed, and I think I know why: You haven't included enough description. ie: describing what stuff looks like. A simple little detail about what every new character looks like, the general color of a building, the sludge on the street, and how a population of a town looks run-down, their clothes ragged and torn, children dirty and hunger-stricken with grime on their faces. It gets better when the main character actually stops and thinks about those details too.

You know, that kind of stuff. Makes the reader feel like they're stopping to smell the roses, and not being pushed through a storyline on a freight train.

Granted I'm only on chapter 3, and totally loving it so far. Keep up the great work!

Sad as it is, but you're right. Choji's death makes this more real (as far as fanfic goes). At least he went down fighting for what he believed in.

I honestly think that with Chouji and his clansman when they got really fucking big, they also got really REALLY dense. Plus since they're so large, most jutsu that would consume them normally would be like, using a fire jutsu as an example, trying to burn someone to death with a match. Yeah it would hurt like hell after a while, and it would EVENTUALLY work, but in the short term it wouldn't really do that much. Least that's how I think about it
