![]() ![]() ![]() Great story. I'm usually not a big fan of humanizing Cameron so much, but You do it so well, in a way so mature that i actually don't mind it that much. I like the way You fiddle with words, i like the many poetic expressions You use, i wish i could do it as well as You in english. The dialogue is also very good, feels natural and shows emotion, which is all that's needed for a story like that. I also liked the cool double-hunting between Cameron and Cromartie at the end of chapter 6. And lastly, the love scenes. They are bold, they are hot, but still, they stay tastefull and romantic. It's not an easy thing to do, and i say it from experience, to find the golden line like that, when You actually make a decision to write about sex, instead of leaving it to the imagination. A very nice work here, indeed. So, all in all, despite my preferences on the Cameron front being slightly different (less human, less emotional, more of a mystery) You still managed to keep me here until the end, which is a recommendation in itself. Regards, Aquma. |
![]() ![]() ![]() interesting chapter . |
![]() ![]() ![]() As I said, I haven't read this story in a long time... All I can say is that I *am* still in love with this story. I can't wait to read the sequel again - I'll to that later today, though. |

![]() ![]() ![]() It's been a long time since I read this story, but I decided that I had to give it another go. And it's still just as great as I remembered. I really loved this chapter. |
![]() ![]() giggity. "(having an orgasm after seeing Lois naked) I need a towel." (Quagmire) |
![]() ![]() ![]() DAMN... Simple, but HIGHLY effective; nice job. The transition of John and Cameron’s relationship from platonic to romantic might be sudden, but her explanation about the reason for the dedication he receives from the Terminators he reprograms serves as a perfect catalyst for the breakdown of his emotional walls to finally allow Cameron in, beginning a relationship that will truly change everything. Sarah’s emotional conflict over the relationship is very well-expressed, perfectly depicting her division between her admiration for John’s resolve and her own issues with machines ever since Kyle’s death, culminating in her final resignation to the relationship (Balanced out rather nicely by John’s humorous ‘dismissal’ of Riley). And as for Cameron herself... She might be having some trouble fully working out WHAT she’s feeling at present, but with John’s evident willingness to help her explore her newly-growing humanity- particularly with the revelation at the end taken into account-, I have a feeling that the sequel is going to be VERY interesting as she comes to full terms with what she’s becoming... (Just to clarify, when Sarah reflects on how she used to be a wilfully obstinate person, I take it that’s referring to her following her encounter with Kyle and the first Terminator but before her later ‘jump’ to the future with Cameron and the subsequent meeting with Derek, given that Sarah pre-Terminator definitely lacked a really ASSERTIVE manner...) |
![]() ![]() ![]() that was so good . |
