Okay, I know that I have already waxed eloquent in a PM to you about how much I loved this fic from when I read it last time, but I thought I'd say it here too. :)
Love this fic. My favorite scene, the one that I keep going back to over and over, is when Dean is hanging off the edge of the tunnel and Sam refuses to let go of him. I love this: "'You can’t hold on, Sammy,' Dean said. 'I’ll only take you down with me.' 'If you go, I go,' said Sam roughly, and he took his shot." I love a determined Sam. :)
And desperate Sam just brought tears to my eyes: “Please. He’s all I’ve got. Please.” You really did a great job, and that one scene...just beautiful. And then the brothers each thanking the other for not letting go. *sniffle* Just lovely.
And you had some good humor in there too, with the pig and Dean's grumbling about it (I really did want to see him get his revenge! LOL) and this line made me laugh: “Huh. If I’d known all along that all we had to do was talk the damn thing to death, I’d have stayed at the motel and let you do all the work.”
And then to find out it's based on a real legend-so cool. I can't believe I hadn't heard that one before, I've been to the Smokies dozens of times. Gonna have to check it out next time I'm down there.
Okay, my epic review is done now ;) and I'm adding this to my favorites.

How awful for Dean, reliving that moment. And then it tries to kill him. Jeeze. Thank goodness Sam came up w/the right thing to say. And speaking of, let me just say, aw.
