I'm not finished reading yet, but wanted to let you know I truly appreciate the time you took to write a friendship with Shikamaru and Naruto! They DO have a unique friendship that's often hinted at in the show, and not elaborated on enough! So thanks!

Je viens de lire ton profil et de découvrir que tu parles parfaitement français en fait, donc ouf! Plus besoin de tester mes compétences en anglais (qui sont mauvaises) pour te laisser une rewiew!
J'ai vraiment un coup de cœur pour cette histoire, surtout la relation de confiance et soutien qui s'est établie entre Shika et Naruto, et son lien plus proche avec Choji aussi. Je ne peux qu'espérer arriver à écrire une fic qui exploite aussi bien les caractères des personnages, les ennemis potentiels et ce qu'on sait du monde ninja lorsque je me déciderai à en faire une. Il n'y a pas assez d'histoires de qualités avec Naruto et Shikamaru en persos principaux sur ce site.
Dans la même idée, je ne peux que prier pour que tu postes prochainement la suite même si ça fait trois ans qu'elle n'a pas eu de nouveau chapitre. Ce serait vraiment dommage et frustrant de voir un travail de cette qualité rester inachevé.
Bon courage si c'est que tu as besoin trouver du temps ou de la motivation pour réussir à le faire _

I love this story! I've read it so many times. The characters the depth! It's absolutely amazing! You're so talented!

I love this book so much! It's really original for a Naruto fanfiction. Can't wait for the next chapter!

At first I thought that this will be a really great fic, and I love Shikamaru so it makes me want to read this more. But I really really don't like this chapter. 'hey, that kid is the fox demon, let's kill him' still okay. The one who want to kill him is konoha shinobi, shocked, Naruto ran away from the village, still okay. But then that OC said 'let's make him an S class missing nin, after all he know this village secret', hmmmm quite okay. And then Kakashi come and said I have the proof that you did it, and the OC said 'alright we will make a cover story he will be doing a mission AN S RANK MISSION!'. Why, because he's an S class missing nin. WTF!

First, I myself didn't know the reason why Naruto suddenly become an S class missing Nin. It's true that he knew this village secret, but it's only because he's the secret himself, it's not like he know all of Konoha's secret.
Second, seriously, is Genta the only one in the council, wasn't the clan head also a member of the council? How can the OC suddenly make all of the decisions.
Third, Kakashi has the proof that Genta is the one who did it. He could blackmail Genta more, for example make him retract the statement that Naruto is now an S class missing nin, or perhaps talk to Shikaku so he could think of a better plan.
Fourth, Naruto was hurt by his "friend's" word and almost kill by Konoha shinobi himself, and it's not some idiot one but a shinobi who had mission from the council to kill him, and HE HEARD IT! Why would he want to go back to Konoha, who want to kill him AND do an S rank mission FOR Konoha.

I just don't see the logic in there, nope.

I only really have one thing to say. This story is amazing and well done.

Am I the only one who didn't like Hinata being a jealous little wench? Strange, because other than this chapter I liked her character in this story. But she was so rude and cold, just because Naruto spoke about Sakura? He was complaining about her, too! It's not like he was writing an apologia of all things Sakura. It made her seem less like someone who improved and more like someone who's immature and instead of telling the person they're upset with what they're upset about, they act out on them.

Also, having Naruto getting repeatedly trounced by everyone except OCs is sort of annoying. There's a fine line between 'he still has a ways to go' and 'well, Naruto has to be the weak and idiotic underdog so even though he's learned a lot we'll just power up everyone else even more.' Because eventually, what's the point?

This is one of the greatest Naruto fanfics I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
