Throwing Shino into the mission was definitely an interesting development. I like it very much! I also like Yugao as the ANBU. I think it will be an exceptional kind of action following in the next chapters. I'm looking forward to it!

That Anbu is crazy funny. I think their new mission is fun, exciting and a lot of actions. It would be nice if Sakura might change for the better. I am a bit curious if they will be welcomed warmly by the Sand siblings, hopefully they will be friends. update soon..

Well another great chapter. I can't say I'm sold on the secret Nara ability thing but it's alright. Your Yugao seems a little brattier then she seemed in the manga but other then that I like it. Enough so that i can forgive Shino's inclusion in the mission.

Yikes! What a recipe for disaster. I was scrolling through ways the Sand and Konoha genin would manage to get along despite/because they went up against each other in the Chunin exams plus aftermath, and then Yugao turned out to be the ANBU... no idea how that is going to work out, but I can't wait to see! Looking forward to the next update!

I love how you ties politics with it and explain everything through Shikamaru. But it will be an interesting mission, with Shino, who's calm and collected, and Yuugao and Naruto.

I see more dynamic use of punctuation, though I'm not sure about the correctness of it. (I find I have a tendency to notice typos when I just wake up - probably since I read slower, so I might just be seeing something there that doesn't exist.)

Wow, it's sorta sad that I feel like the senior ninja would be the one mucking up the mission. Yuugao? REALLY? Genta... you asshat.

The whole mini-mystery of the Nara abilities is rather interesting, too, since this is the first actual proof in the story that there is something more to Shikamaru's odd ability learned during the mission to get Kohaku.

If this turns into a Naruto/Hinata fic I might just shoot myself. But really how i see it any romance between characters in this particular story will distract the readers from the main idea...TEAM OBLIVION if their was romance in this there would be too great of a chance it would turn into "Hinata-chan your so pretty 'n stuff now i will dedicate all my achievements in life to you because our love makes me stronger for reasons i cannot explain" and "Naruto-kun I love you for reasons that are not explicitly stated but I am perfect for you and totaly not a stalker" Anywho sweet story so far but right now you can explore soo many posabilites I hope you dont waste this chance.

aw come on , genta is fucking stupid, shikamaru will know that even the anbu has a thing against the sand , because of course genta would have made the entire team genins anbu having problems with the sand. He'll be able to know it under 2 weeks and it will be no problem :O

interesting turn of events. but this is my only problem. Half the chapter was useless exposition. Many people say that oh we need detail oh we need length but thats not a point of a story. A story is meant to get a point across not drag along the word count with a pulley. NO. We are here to create a message. If you write a scene it better be damn important to the story. Everything should have a reason.

Most of the scenes you have right now are things ready established you are just adding more sauce to your already cooked barbecue.

This also has a lot to do with pacing. Pacing is not necessarily how fast you go or how slow you go. Pacing is the time you take and which scenes you put in. If one scene has already been done or could be replaced a scene before then take it out. don't bother with it you are better off writing something else.

Something that really needs to improve is the DEPTH,Depth is the under layer of the story. hint at stuff don't lay it out right. The scene about shikamaru's right of passage is good. the hinting with kakashi is good. the scene with Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto was bland. Over done and waay low quality for someone like you.

Expand more and be creative. Don't blandly say he was now on guard. Say that he had his hand on his kunai, his foot muscles tightening to prepare for an assault.

That is something good. the description about Hinata's color change was EXCELLENT! More of that!

Keep going and keep writing.
