Hey...I'm so sad for having to wait for the next chapter . I have to say, I found this chapter to be a bit disappointing, since it didn't make much sense to me; I mean, why did Naruto blow their cover so carelessly, and why did Shikamaru not stop him? They had no idea about the missing nin's personality, and since he is so much more powerful than them the element of surprise could have been the only way to stand a chance against him. I don't think even Naruto could make such a mistake. I was expecting a brilliant plan instead of such a suicidal gamble...anyway that's the first critic I had the chance to make, the story is still epic and I'm still looking forward to the next chapter! Update soon plz even if I know how it feels to be lazy (I read your profile :D)

Two questions: what is the Body Flicker technique? And what about the Breakthrough? Sorry but I'm not really a big expert of the Narutoverse and you gave for granted that the reader knew about it beforehand. Anyway, great chapter as always though I'm sad since soon I will have to wait for updates instead of reading through this wonderful story. The blind man may be that Hyuuga guy...it would be a nice twist. Lets find out :D

You know, the overdramatic sappy emotional sequences are the part I most dislike in Naruto, but again, as in with the training, you managed to make it likable and believable. I also find it amusing how Shikamaru's always getting attention from the ladies...the redhead was definitely fascinating in a creepy way, I hope she'll make soon another appearance. Hmm...the only redhead I can think of in Naruto is Tayuya from the sound...

Awesome! That was indeed some serious kick-ass. Shikamaru's stamina has apparently improved a lot for being able to control so many people with his shadow bind for 3 minutes when against the sound-nins he only managed for half a minute and they were far less than the bandits. And the white chakra and absolute control part was intriguing, I enjoyed it the most. Now that I think about it, Shikamaru was able to take down the bandits without resorting to his biggest resource of all, since he didn't have a particular strategy, he just fought like a normal shinobi. If he applies his genius to his improved resources I think he'll be really topping that B rank of his soon...

Okay, NOW I'm curious about Shika's training, it's a good thing I don't have to wait for the next chapter! And I am definitely looking forward to the ass-kicking. As for the pharmacist, I was kind of perplexed about Shikamaru's blackmail, now it's all become clear! And Megumi's quite nice.

Seriously, I'm amazed at how you're able to make training sessions interesting! It all makes perfect sense and is also very cool. Lol, after reading this I'm almost eager to do some training myself, but being lazier than Shikamaru I find it to be an impossible task xD

Most chapter titles are fine, this feels a little awkward though, I think "Improvement" would be a better choice. As for the jutsu, I have no idea, I'll guess I'll find out now :D

Loved this chapter, as usual, maybe even more so. The warrior-frog summoning was the funniest scene of the fic so far, somehow I found it to be hilarious! The "ninja-war" part was very clever, you really deserve a praise. Meanwhile Shika's getting taken care of by a sexy nurse, I guess that could be a karmic compensation for the trouble he's gone through :)

Team Oblivion sounds a bit cheesy but that suits Naruto; plus, it also sounds epic and that's definitely a plus! :D Seriously though, this story is a dream come true, Shikamaru's my favorite character and I really find your portrayal of him to be believable and spot-on. Many people underestimate him but he's been the first to become chuunin and first who managed to beat an Akatsuki by himself, that's got to mean something. I can't wait to read the awesome plan he'll come up to defeat the Hyuuga! Btw your Naruto is awesome as well :)

You know, this story is pure awesome! Maybe you won't believe it but this is exactly the fic I've been searching for, because I've always thought that nothing could stand in the way of Shikamaru&Naruto if they ever became allies. So far I'm absolutely loving it, especially the little details like the Nara-talk rules that add depth to the story. The plot is intriguing as well, and I've got a feeling it can only get better :)

I really like this story so far. At first I thought it was going to be yet another overly angsty 'betrayal' fic complete with bad characterization and overkill power-ups, but instead I was happy to find an actual adventure style fic with *good* characterization and an interesting plot. Naruto is one of those series where the fandom either pays too much attention to cannon and hardly ever diverges or goes out right AU- it's rare to see any middle ground where the 'future' cannon is left alone and things actually change because of divergences. I've actually found it quite funny how few people ever take the chance to make their own 'futures' after diverging from cannon, especially where they know what happens after the divergence point.

Anyway, I like this and hope to see more soon.

That blind man is really the Hyuuga they looking for. Now what, they're fighting, it seems He is really something. They had a chance but so small they are only 2 and not even strong ones. The fight is next..

I enjoyed this chapter. Very good characterization again. I especially love Naruto's way of connecting with the enemy, even it it IS a stupid idea on some level. But it's just so Naruto-ish. I applaud!

Hum... I wonder what will happen next chapter? Obviously they won't die... But I wonder what is to become of the fight? Hm hm. Guess I'll have to wait to find out! I'm very ecstatic over the coming chapters. I would really love to see where you go with this!

It seems they find the peson they were looking for in the most unlikely of places without seeing him fight not many people would suspect a blind man of being a ninja. I just hope that Shikamaru and Naruto having gotten in too far over their heads.

I liked how you portrayed Naruto after the fight; he would be one to ignore that someone was an enemy if there was a cool enough fight. I'm witing to see how things turn out.
