Reviews for Eternal Return |

![]() ![]() ![]() This story was absolutely beautiful. In a way I wish this is how the actual story ended. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I kind of knew that was how it would end yet reading the last section still took a lot out of me. And it makes me so, so sad for Harry, to have to go through that for an eternity. But this story was very interesting in how it all worked out. I can totally see it happening, though I wonder how anyone can resist making small changes that would "improve" their world. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story is beautiful. It is beautiful and horrible and filled with so many emotions it almost hurts. You did a wonderful job. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you, you just destroyed my heart. omg I definitely didn't predict this ending. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That is depressing as all fvck. I can't say I like this—depressing just isn't my kind of thing—but I have a high opinion of it regardless of that. Well written, and an interesting idea. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That's amazing... I love it, especially the ending, and the twistyness of each decision of Voldemort's... if Dumbledore had just looked at him nicely... |
![]() ![]() This is definitely my favourite 'Harry is Voldemort' fic - it's just so perfectly awful, if you know what I mean, because nothing is worse than torture the poor readers by making them understand that Harry, the Gryffindor that he is supposed to be, is afraid of breaking out of the loop and left never knowing that he has always been Voldemort. Ouch, indeed. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is one of the more interesting if disturbing stories I have read. Well written and an interesting idea. Well done, very well done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, that's definitely a new height to humanity's cowardice and stupidity, and I can totally see as something that !Canon Harry would do. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh that SUCKS! (To be clear, the omg stuck in the eternal loop is what sucks) Well written! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. I don't think I can say anything else that will properly convey what reading this is like. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yikes. This messed me up. In a good way! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't understand why Harry doesn't just kill himself...if his objective is to eliminate Voldemort, that easily solves it. Other parts of this story hint that for some reason he needs to follow history to make sure that Harry is born. Why? That isn't self-preservation because Harry is now Voldemort. Harry isn't needed to kill Voldemort because he can just kill himself now. I find it rather far-fetched that he just wants another Harry to be born to have a being named Harry Potter live. If Harry Potter is no longer born, why is that bad? Maybe the Potters have a different child, big deal. He's not ending a life because that life never existed in the first place. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I had a thought similar to this and posted it on tumblr, and then someone recommended this and it was glorious. A bit different than my idea but amazing and glorious and definitely better than the idea I had. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Absolutely terrifying. Kind of in a HP Lovecraft way (which in this case is good...he's one of my all-time favorite authors). This is a well written and very engaging; bravo! |
