That was a wonderful story! At least this existing part, I wish I could read the rest of it! I fell in love with your Legolas and Gimli, they are so devoted, proud and caring, true to the canon I suppose...thank you for posting this marvelous fanfiction! Maybe some day you will feel like to finish the story

I’ve just finished reading this story, and it’s probably one of the best I’ve read in a while. I was hesitant to read this at the beginning because it hasn’t been updated in a long but I’m glad that I did. If you are still writing fanfiction I hope you’ll finish this story one day, but if not it still really good!

After a long time I decided to read this again. It's such a good story, but that cliffhanger... sigh... I wish you would continue and finish this story (and "During a journey in the dark"). You have talent and I do not wish these stories to be unfinished forever.

I read this over several days, even during classes. It was so good. And then, suddenly, I realized I wasn’t going to know the end bc the remaining chapters were too few. Truly saddened. I hope you’re ok and someday, I hope we hear more

I read this several years ago and felt inclined to reread it. I wish it was completed, or at least that we had a summary of how you intended to conclude it. Your writing of the characters, the complexity of the politics and strategies, and a compelling plot make this one of the best LOTR fan fictions I have read. I hope to someday know the conclusion to the tale.

I don’t know if you’re even writing fanfiction anymore, but if there’s any chance that you are and you do see this, I absolutely love your story. The emotion you put into your characters and the plot and world you create around them really brings the story to life. I really hope you decide to update this at some point, the cliffhanger you left us on was very suspenseful and I am on the edge of my seat waiting for more!

I'll confess that a lot of the political stuff is going over my head, and at times it does seem to drag on, but the story is amazing. And you have such an amazing cast of OCs.
You have me terrified for poor Legolas and Gimli... I'm really hoping they'll be found soon, though I'm not so sure that that will be the case. And poor Legolas getting cut off from the song again! (Of course the elven name is going to elude me when I need it lol)
Only three chapters left and this hasn't been updated since 2005... somehow I doubt everything is going to be resolved in those last chapters. An update would be greatly appreciated.

I should have known it was too much to hope for that Eomer would remember what occurred a few chapters back, but regardless I'm glad Legolas has his senses back.

Well... I certainly hope Eomer remembers what happens when he wakes up.

I like how you brought in Legolas' longing for the sea, even though it's kind of sad to think about.
