Found this story again after 10 years and stayed up reading it for hours. Begging you to finish it! I'm still hooked after all this time!

I just found this story and I like it a lot. I feel so bad for Leah. I think is so dumb of Emily to ask Leah to be in the wedding. I am loving the Callwater relationship. I cannot until they are officially together. Maybe a big smutty spicy time will be coming? Anyways, I cannot wait for more.

It has been one of my favourites, a friendship between Leah and Rose, as much sense as it makes, is a rare sight and so is all the rest. Thank you for this - and here's to hoping you will one day continue )

AHHHHH THIS CHAPTER IS IMMACULATE! I enjoy your writing so so much, the little details and the smooth transition. Instead of, “We drove back home slowly at the dreadful prospect of what was waiting for us there,” it was “Rose? Drive a little slower, would you?” Which was such a nice fine point! The turmoil inside Leah about Sam was well-done and the relationships are so sweet. I don’t think in reality Leah would actually call the vamps her sisters (nor would she get in a car with them) but it is really nice to read! I could visualize the scene of their hair blowing back behind them and the club scene is real vivid, too. Good job!

I snapped again at him, and he grinned and took off at full-speed toward the house. Used to be. Ouch. That really stung, especially since I knew it was all too true.

"I still think you're pretty."

Embry's thought floated through my head, stunning me completely, before he phased and left me in complete silence.

I absolutely LOVE that quote! “I still think you’re pretty.” What? That’s so freaking sweet of him! God, what a nice starting chapter. Not too short, not too long, establishing Leah’s unfortunate predicament after Jacob’s imprinting and foreshadowing the friendly relationship between her and Embry to come! Reading this ff at 2am truly rocks :)

EMBRY CAL IS THE SWEETEST PERSON/ DOGGY EVER ! OMG THE WAY HE IS UNFAILINGLY LOYAL AND SUPPORTIVE OF LEAH but maybe he is too ooc? There needs to be a solid reasoning behind his unflinching dedication to Leah. Without one, it can seem very flimsy and unrealistic. Did he have a secret crush on her in the past? Has he accidentally acquired some knowledge on Leah that’s changed the way he views her? Does Leah show a side of herself to Embry that she hides from everybody else? To me, it seems that he is the perfect poster boyfriend/ guy friend but those aren’t common in the real world - a revealing backstory behind Embry’s kindness to Leah would be beneficial to the readers.

Ps. I am aware that the author stopped updating this fanfic but I don’t care. I’m going to keep reviewing oxox

Here, here! This story has gotten my attention! I normally do not read fanfics word for word but I’m trying to with this one because it seems worth it! I like how we don’t jump right into the romance with Leah and Embry here - although I suspect that their relationship will develop further along the story *wink wink*;) The journey of Leah Clearwater is definitely something I had wished that Meyer had written about because she has so so so much potential! I’m glad you took it upon yourself to give her an in-depth backstory because I love Leah. Also, your don’t worry about this chapter being boring - it’s actually quite good! You have a nice pacing and her thoughts seem realistic and true to the Book Leah. Not sure what else I can say about your writing style except that it has a nice ebb and flow? One criticism: differentiate more! I think that you should work on branching off on what we already know about the characters and creating new information about them. Little tidbits of facts that keep it interesting. Also, proof-read to catch those *rare* spelling errors. Thank you. Okay, I’m going to continue reading.

I google this story *multiple* times per year just hoping and praying there will be additional chapters. This story is so compelling that it has stuck with me for YEARS, so you can imagine my through the roof excitement, my ridiculous happiness when I saw there was an update! As always 10/10.

Please know there are people (at LEAST 10 but probably more) who are still so invested and in love with this story even after 10 years. I am Begging for a conclusion to this story even though I have no right to.

If I had started something 10 years ago and recently rediscovered it, it would rub me the wrong way to have strangers pushing me to finish it but here I am, pushing (very gently and lovingly) and begging for this story to continue (or conclude).

So that is my two cents. Thank you for creating and developing this story and an even bigger thank you for being a nurse during the scary, unpredictable, wild time that is Covid. You are royalty and I wish you good health and good fortune and good times!
