Fantastic fic. I felt the emotions of the characters, especially the desperation they all seemed to experience. A really fantastic read and interesting plot line!

So I finally read this fic as well, while waiting for an update for In Choice and in Freedom, and I really liked it. But I have to say, your writing has really evolved since this fic! Like wow. I feel like you went from telling us what the characters feel to showing in your latest stories. Congratulations!

Wonderful ceremony, and perfect blend for them.

Wow! Simply amazing! I've been wanting to read this forever and could never find the time since it was so long. Finally managed it and boy am I glad. Not surprising that it's so good since everything you write is magic. But this was fabulous.

The start and the quick run through of John and Teyla's early months gave you a very strong picture of what life was like for them. Very strong images were embedded and paved the way for the rest of the story. You could feel the angst and despair but also the unbelievable need they had to keep the other safe.

Then the romance that started out hot and heavy but you could already tell the underlying feelings and bond had been there. John's fierce protection and desire to keep Teyla from harm came through so strong and yet the story was filled with red hot action and adventure.

The last few chapters were a lovely way to wind down and show that all was well, after a fashion and I truly loved the end where we see Charin and her family still close and growing. The end where she asked to hear the story of her birth again, perfect!

Wow! I resisted commenting as I read this fantastically wonderful story! You are a wonderful storyteller! I could hardly put this story down and was thrilled by the length-I love indepth stories! The fight for survival on Planet Hell was so raw, I was full of angst, Happy when the were "saved" by Violet Eyes, but still wary! The desperation-filled need to survive for one another was so tangible-when John made his move it was again raw, desperate, needy but retained enough compassion and true love. It was hot and defintely sexy! Phew! The resulting pregnancy wonderful-the angst of a miscarriage was so tangible. I love John's fierce protectiveness throughout the story, especially during the pregnancy and definitely after the birth of his baby daughter! I love the way you had John reacting his new family.

Rescue of course, came at the most opportune time! Yeah Atlantis! John and Teyla's shift from their day to day struggle to survive to being among people, even people they trusted and loved was so believable...and of course John's refusal to admit to the psych doctor was so spot on! I didnt like his doubts of Teyla's love-though doubt is such a basic human emotion-I guess even if you are one of the hottest guys in 2 galaxies!LOL! Seriously, it was typical John and I like how you finally had them hash it out-especially with the end result of that hot, sexy bath! Poor John suffered needlessly for too long!

The whole wedding was so beautifully written and like at all weddings, in real life, on tv, movies and in this story-I cried tears of joy! Just excellent writing!

The ending chapter with Charin was bittersweet..I knew it was the end and I was kind of dissappointed that they were on Earth. I always figured John would never leave Atlantis, which is where he felt most "at home"..I imagined him-when the time came to step down and live out his retirement there as a consultant-as Atlantis would need him in any capacity...but this is your story-your ending! I truly enjoyed this story,one of my absolute faves! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent. I will definitely check out your other stories!
