War is such a cruel arena and you captured the essence of it so perfectly I could almost hear that darned siren's wail along side the explosions and gunfire.

I was worried for John when you mentioned his spleen because ruptures can bleed out so quickly, so it was good fortune that it was a tear rather than a full blown rupture or I doubt he'd have made it.
