I love this! :) Talyn's voice sounds very believable, and so do his opinions on Crais and Aeryn and the rest of Moya's crew.
I love this line: "That's why he's my best friend. Because he changed, just because he loved me so much. Because he hasn't got anybody else, except me." The relationship between Talyn and Crais is my favorite on the show, and you describe it wonderfully. Great job!

I really enjoyed this. All too often Talyn & Moya are seen only as vessels, with little focus on their thoughts. Pilot's line of "Moya is very scared" gets so worn. That's usually all we hear about the 2 leviathans - their simple emotions. It's nice to read a fic that examines a leviathan's deeper feelings & thought processes. And Talyn's point of view is portrayed very well, thinking like a child...

Greatly enjoyed that.

hee...this was great, though i see you had reservations about it. i like the "voice" you used for Talyn. You can almost imagine this boy's soul inside the ship, but with enough twists and views that it's not *quite* a normal boy ;) again, I have a favourite bit:

"And then me and my whole family are going to go into battle and we're going to kick ass. "
