Hello. I need to inform you that years alter, this haunted a person who is utterly apathetic to all things Death Note enough to come, reread it, and greatly admire what you did in it. That being, that the characters are proud, dangerous men, who are each the greatest threat to the other, and attached because they know that. Neither one is going to stop, and they both lie, and somehow, it can be wrangled into working.

This is legitimately the sweetest Lawlight fanfic I've ever read

Oh that was a lovely read! I loved absolutely everything about this and I'm not usually a fan of Christmas fics at all! My heart is all warm and happy now, this fic was very much like receiving a nice blanket and some cocoa while watching a comfort movie, it was what I needed to read 3 I love L being brotherly to the Wammy kids and Light seducing L because he loves him instead of seducing him for a twisted plan, Matt, Mello and Near were adorable (and Kelly! And Dinosaur Kid and Kyle!) I'm more of a Meronia shipper than a MxM but d'aww I could definitely be converted if I kept reading more fics like this one, they were just so sweet! You even got me to see BB (whom I have a hate/love relationship) with kinder eyes after this 3 just lovely! Thank you so much for taking your time to write this fic and also to edit it!

I love this fic so much, this chapter is so good my gosh

This brought out so many warm fuzzy feelings without ever becoming cheesy or boring, it was just amazing. Sometimes I avoid fluff because if not done correctly it can just seem a little pointless. That didn't happen with this story at all. Every moment of this was just delightful, and I haven't smiled quite so much reading a fic in a while. I also nearly cried while reading it, but it was the good kind of sad

This is honestly my favorite fanfic of all time even tho I've moved on from this ship. Looking back, I realized this is what inspired me to write my first fanfic. I loved how you incorporated fluff with drama and I've been trying to emulate the same emotions in my fic without realizing THIS FIC is the reason why lol. I even subconsciously took the winter theme setting from this, but other then that I don't think I stole anything (hopefully). You might not ever read this but in case you do, I just want you to know that this story really struck a chord with me and even went so far as to influence my own writing style years later. You're an amazing author and I hope you're doing well where ever you are now :)

I first read this story way back when it was still being written, and it's stuck in my mind this entire time as one of my favorite Death Note fics. I'm not the kind of person who tends to re-read fics often, so this is the first time I've read it since then, but it definitely lives up to my memories-and then some.

God bless the internet for leading me to this gem of a fic. You have such beautiful writing and a real talent for prose. I enjoyed every second of this. In a hypothetical what if they fell in love with each other, this was fantastic. I thought it captured the complicated and complex nature of their identities and relationships so well. All around fantastic work.
