When I first started following this story, it was GOOD. Short chapters, an original enough idea that was also interesting...

And for a long time, it was everything I wanted from a story.

But at this point, this has turned too much towards the post-apoctalyptic epic. It is too much a repeat of your earlier work (LCA comes to mind) with the same pairings recycled over and over. The story is not what it was. It has lost its way.

Where? Probably around the time we get to know that Aizen is Ichigo's uncle, Ichigo goes away for TWENTY YEARS, and half the captains we know and love are killed off.

I am sorry to say this, I really am, but while the beginning and middle of this story was delightful and nothing but, the turn it has taken is a disappointment. There are too many implausible things happening at once, too much a likeness to LCA. Your attempt at a different story has turned into yet another epic. It's a shame.

I mean you no offense, of course, I just say what is on my mind.

This has got to be the best story i've read on here period.

Best storyline, best writing, very creative, plot twists and no plotholes.

By Aizen's closing quotes, it makes me think he's sending Ichigo to Soul Society where they will then point at him and try to kill him. Hm. And ahh, Ulquiorra defects. I wonder what the effect will be for Orihime.

I see that without Ichigo, Byakuya still has a stick up his rear-end by the name of honor. I do look forward to Kaien giving him apiece of his mind though. XD

As for Aizen's test, I think Ichigo will obey as long as he doesn't have to kill Rukia. ...which knowing Aizen, would probably be his test. Hm...

Oh-ho! So Tousen got beheaded! It'll be interesting to see how Ichigo retains his compassion now that he's been promoted to Aizen's lieutenant.

As for the vision, it took me a little to realize that. But ah, it was very, very intriguing.

"and delivered a series of kicks to his groin so vicious that Grimmjow winced out of empathy" and "I guess that’s what I get for having a dad who’s obsessed with kung-fu movies, though" were my favorite lines. Now I am definitely curious to see what their back-story is!

“I thought there was some kind of law making it forbidden for people under six feet to carry swords?” As a short person, lines about fellow short people crack me up. XD

With Hichigo and Grimmjow ganging up on him, poor Ichigo is going to get teased and rough-housed to an inch of his life.

And oh goodness. Totally did not see Aizen giving Tousen permission to kill Grimmjow! D: (and right after there was a potential kiss scene between him and Soi Fon!)

Solid chapter as always, and I'm off to the next to see if Grimmjow is dead or alive...

“and gaze upon the face of he whom you have forsaken.” The phrasing makes me think of religious connotations.

Hm, how is Ichigo going to explain a materialized Hichigo to Aizen? Also, "I don’t know how much longer I can take the Old Man’s grin before I rip his face off," amuses me to no end.

And ooh yes! Grimmjow and Soi Fon interaction!

It's an interesting premise you have set up here. I'm quite interested to see how the Grimmjow/Soi Fon pairing is going to fit in too. The Hichigo and Ichigo interaction is really sharp and well-written. If I liked slash, I'm sure I'd be a mass of incoherent mush from happiness.

“he will remember that you are not his only ally.” Ah, so Zangetsu is still around. That bit feels like it has a second meaning as well.

“What do you say we take this thing to the next level?" That seems to be a common phrase in the training arcs. Lol.

I'm glad you explained Gin's motives. Of course, the next question to ask is that if gin knows, Aizen has to know too. Hm.

“I’m gonna draw out your killer instinct and pound every ounce of fear from your soul, Ichigo." Whoah. Ichigo's going to be totally kick-ass by the time this fic is done. It'll be itneresting to see where you take his character and how far he'll be from where he started. Similarly, now that the pity is being "ground" out of him, I wonder how will things turn out. ...and upon reading the author's note, my answers have been questioned.
