Ichigo's "morning after" was hysterical, especially with the whole "falling down the stairs" bit. It makes me think of this book I read where the students were fighting and when confronted by the schoolmaster they said, "I fell down." Nice! I was happy to see Zangetsu again and look forward to more Gin/Ichigo training. Gin's such an interesting character, in my opinion. I thought he was straight-up bad at first but he's just got so many shades to his character...he's definitely a wild card. And yes, Soi Fong and Grimmjow meet! And how interesting, you gave them a little bit of a past! I'm interested to see where that goes!

Haha, well, Griffin was pretty much meant to be an antagonizer, so I guess it is a good thing he provoked such a strong reaction from you! And no, MatsuMama hasn't shown me any chatlogs, but I can well imagine them!

Cool new bankai for Ichigo. And his inner hollow materialized! Sounds like things are going to get interesting for everyone!

Plus, it sounds like Grimmjow and Soi Fon new each other in the past? Their memories were similar... PLOT TWIST! :)

I liked the scene with Ichigo and the inner hollow, even if the idea of the two of them separating seems utterly improbable. For this fic, I'll overlook improbability.

Soifon and Grimmjow meet, huh? I get the whole zanpakuto resonance thing, but I just have to say: While Memories of nobody was like a long, crappy filler, Diamonddust was utter bullshit. So I don't know, maybe resonance is kind of far-fetched... But on the other hand, it opens up for the SoiGrimm in a good enough way.

Meh, it works.

On the whole, it still works, and I still like it. Will the others get screen time fighting Grimmjow's fraccion? Kaien wouild be pretty cool to see.

Have I ever told you how much I love this story?

I don't know what to say, other than the fact that THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! A fused Zangetsu & in Shikai & Bankai, Zangetsu showing up, on his knees, and to top it off Isshin knowing about Ichigo's whereabouts, & he knows Byakuya? This is my kind of story! Nice Bleach Movie 2 reference also, that threw me for a loop, but I loved it!

As always you do a great job of making the chapters fun and exciting to read to other FanFictioners out there! Again, very excellent and very detailed chapter! I look forward to more and more action in the next chapter!:)

More words? I love the motherly/big sisterly aspect of Nel's personality here. Gin's ever-present smile getting a bit wider suits him perfectly, and Grimmjow being all "Need to fight Ichigo!" cracks me up.

Isshin. Ha! He really is one of my favorite characters, and his response to Ichigo's actions in this chapter resonate perfectly.

Also - go Kaien! I also have an unhealthy affection for The Diamond Dust Rebellion, and I'm not sure I'm liking the Grimmjow/Soifon interaction because of LCA or because it makes sense (both have that warrior spirit, after all), but it's all good.

I have to wonder, though - it's interesting that Ichigo asked for the power of Hichigo's bankai, and not, say, the more hollow-like aspects of its power (the mask, access to cero blasts, accelerated regeneration, and the like that we saw Hichigo exhibit when he came out during Ichigo's training with the vizards in canon). By asking for the bankai and his loyalty, has he cut himself off from these powers?

Ichigo and Hichigo are not one anymore ? So Ichigo is not a vizard anymore but he has a hybrid bankaï, interesting, but that's still a long shot from truly beating Aizen, although by having separated Hichigo from him he didn't lose potential ?

That was a very clever solution for Ichigo's hollow problem. I think that Grimmjow is going to be very surprised when he finally asks for a rematch against Ichigo!

FABULOUS chapter, of course. Ichigo achieving his bankai from Hichigo was a stroke of genious, imho; I kinda hope it happens in canon, cuz it's just too damn cool. A double-bankai, a twisted and intertwined version of both Zangetsu and Hichigo... *shakes head* Your imagination continues to astound.

I also LOVED the end part with Grimm and Soi Fon resonating off of each other. Let the sparks fly and the games begin!
