The plot thickens - I had completely forgotten about the original espada, so it was a nice surprise to see them included. It's also refreshing to see Tousen in action (and I just loved Ichigo's reaction to the katana's "But they're...they're sharp). I hope that Rukia's snaps out of her melancholy soon, 'cause I really want to know what course of action she's going take!

Anyway, as I'm sure you can tell - I can't wait to read the next chapter :).

Good hapter. I think you stayed true to the original characterizations and the plot continues to be intriguing. I'm looking forward to seeing what the Seireitei intends to about the traitor captains and Ichigo.

I love these types of stories- the hero goes over to the dark side, the bad guys, the enemy, whatever you want to call them/it, in order to, they hope, to help the ones they love. Everyone turns on each other, and I love it!

Nice chapter. Again you did a great job. It just makes me wonder, how come Ichigo doesn't seem to care that he left Rukia? It just seems like he kind of pushed it aside and didn't care anymore...though I'm sure he will start to regret things later on I mean it IS the beginning of the story! Update soon!

Woohoo! I'm SO glad you're running with this fic, it really vibrates with a sort of electricity that's fun to read! Aizen is DELICIOUSLY evil...we've seen what Ichigo can do under Urahara, now we get to see him in the hands of a(nother?) brilliant psychopath!

The chance to see the early days of the Arrancar is all kinds of fun, I know you'll do brilliantly with it. And what a fun chance to see Gin in HM! Ah, love that crazy dude. And Tousen's training - whoof! It's like a dark and dangerous mirror-image of the SS arc in canon. DELICIOUS!

...and I'm loving the shorter chapters. ;)

A new story, eh? Well, muuch like my own, this story tries a radically different thing as a narrative hook, that alone has my interest. I never think Ichigo would join Aizen, even for control over his hollow- but nevermind that, it makes for a whole new take on thhe Hueco Mundo arc. Mayhap they need not kidnap Orihime, now that Ichigo can be used as bait?

Anyways, this is interesting. Too early to tell if it will be as captivating as LCA, though. I do hope you won't make this another epic.

An interesting hook for a story, and one that doesn't strain credulity too much. I think that *had* Ichigo lost control of his inner hollow and brutally attacked Rukia and Renji in that time and place, he could have done what he did in this opening chapter.

Storytelling-wise, you can go just about anywhere you please. I would prefer to see something where Aizen sows the seeds for his own doom, but that's me. If I want to read a depressing tale, I jut open a newspaper. Heh.

Worst of all, I feel slightly more compelled to write my own AU story branching from Soukyoku Hill that I thought of a while back. It's pure crack, though, one chapter and I'll be done. Work gets in the way of writing, regrettably...

The start could do with some clafication (maybe flashbacking) but the scenes had some real emotion in them and a nice bit of miroring too.

That is truly interesting, and well written at first I was skeptical about the story, but somehow it sounded just good.

ONLY ONE BIG QUESTION : Why Byakkuya Kuchiki didn't die ? ? ?

Or why was he not wounded in the slightest ?

Or maybe that is just an alternate story.
