![]() ![]() So good. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was so funny and really engaging, I was up till midnight reading it through! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sure you already know how wonderful this piece you did eleven years ago is, but one more friendly review surely won't hurt! I loved this! It could have been a pure fluff piece, but you layered it with this detailed, clever plot about friendship and free will and it's just gorgeous. It's a brilliant, funny, funny piece. I love so so much about it. I literally can only think of three nitpicks to critique: one) It's perhaps a little lengthy for a one-shot, and it might have worked better divided into a few shorter chapters, two) I was a little confused by the bit where Crowley was borderline nonchalant about Holy Water, saying it hurt but just led to discorporation… yeah I'm pretty sure that would have utterly destroyed him and he'd never have come back in any form... three) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what you did with the tree of knowledge in this story, so please don't take this the wrong way, but wouldn't that garden have been washed out with the flood of Noah's day? That said, gosh this is so good! I wish I could list everything great about it - like Crowley and Aziraphale turning into dolphins, or the way you used music in the story, or the bit where Aziraphale realizes what Crowley tricked him into eating and gets out of the car...just gah...it's soooooo good - but I think I'd just end up copy/pasting the whole story. Also, this has aged brilliantly. If it weren't for the date, you practically couldn't tell that this wasn't written after the show came out. Just brilliant. Favorited for sure. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ha lovely! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This fic is both very soft and funny, thank you so much for writing it! It's so true to the spirit of the book. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Terry and Neil would enjoy this, I think It seems like it could be one of those suspicious snippets that ended up in the book that both swore neither wrote |
![]() ![]() You probably don’t expect anyone to be commenting on a decade-old doc, but I had to let you know I enjoyed it. Thank you for writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() (falls over laughing) |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is so awesome! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heh, what a cute little story. Those two are so cute, really, I enjoyed this story very much. Thanks for uploading! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fabulous! LOL at so many moments and so perfectly in character and tone. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG, I read this years ago and ever since they announced the miniseries of GO I've been looking for this fic everywhere! (I can't believe I never faved it, I was kicking myself when I realized I hadn't. That ends right now!) I'm so glad I finally found it :DDDDDDD (bonus: its been so long since I read it, it was like I was reading it for the first time again. So many things surprised and delighted me) The whole list was a wild ride, I loved every moment. I love Crowley running out of things to do (Lunch in a picturesque cafe in ...) and borrowing from other lists (swim with dolphins/sharks). I love Aziraphale thwarting the things on Crowley's list. I love Crowley tricking Aziraphale into eating the apple and the consequences of that. I love Crowley talking to the priest. I love their reactions to the burning of Agnes Nutter's Sequel. I love Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship. The one thing that was really memorable for me (and out of all the things I love about this story, it was my favourite bit) is their talk with Adam. I had to scroll to the end to make sure this was the fic I was searching for, and voila - Adam talking about Free Will! You really captured his character - what with the questions about wheat ice cream and "I reckon you're an Aziraphale. And you're a Crowley. And I think that's basic'ly all". Also the idea that Heaven and Hell can only work together if Aziraphale and Crowley agree to it - just perfection. Thank you for such an amazing story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is awesome but could u not refer to god as him in future fics since god is a her in good omens |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you so much for keeping a good strong friendship and not forcing them into a relationship. It was a really nice story, thank you for writing. |
![]() ![]() This Was so good. Your characterization was very good, and I LOVED the way Crowley got into trouble and messed with Aziraphale I also particularly loved that he spent like a quarter of his list trying to win back Aziraphale after he messed up, that was great. He was like a sad, slightly rebellious, slightly evil puppy who was put out into the yard and occasionally comes barking to be let in. ‘Aziraphaaaaaaaaaale, pleeeeeaase I’m soryyyy I just want to spend time with you again’ ‘No, my dear, I don’t think I will’ ‘ :C ‘ AND THEY (assumedly) STOPPED THE APOCALYPSE WOOOO |
