a great ending to a great story, love how you showed how different things would be with same characters but no intersect.

Another nice chapter. Chuck is definitely more confident. He's not sure how he'll do at being the intersect and how he'll do at being in danger. But he does seem to know what he is good at and is willing to learn the rest. That shows quite a bit of courage as well. Especially when a lot of what he's learning can really be dangerous. He's also willing to speak his mind and stand up for what he wants. The team is behind where the show's team is because of the lack of the intersect. I'd guess Carina won't be showing up in this AU either. But with this Chuck, I'd expect them to make up ground quickly.

Great story, well laid out, and while different than the series, shows the character of each person well. Very nicely done.

I can't believe that this is the end, but makes sense, this is where his destiny started so its where this is to end. I love the chuck/sarah scene on the beach, its one of my favorite scenes. Overall this was an interesting take on how chuck got to where he is, and it was a fun ride. Thank you, and I look forward to the epilogue.

I really like the way you ended this Everything just kinda came together. I especially like the way in which Chuck and Sarah come together. Thier relationship in this story has a how has just made much better sense that even canon in some ways. By that I mean mainly their slow and steady climb to the point were they can thrive together, instead of the the rollercoaster of canon whose highest peak barely comes close to where they end up in this. Obviously changes casued by the divergence point caused some of those, but otherwise, I you just did a better job setting them up. The ending sets up a great jumping off point were you to continue but also leaves you feeling ok with things if you dont, which is really important, not enough things of this type do that. Nice work!

Great story overall. I wish I could be more specific but this chapter was about as perfect as one could get in fan fiction. What amazes me about this story is your ability to tell a very AU story but at the same time parrell things that happened on the show. Often when writers attempt that I feel like I am reading a repeat of episodes that I have already seen but that didn't happen here.

I wasn't a big fan of the Jill part of the story. It seemed a little too creepy for the show and even for this story. I pretty much loved everything else.

I am greatly looking forward to the epilogue. Is there any chance for a sequel. I wouldn't mind seeing another 100,0 words out of you.

What can I say? You have a gift and displayed it in your writing. I like the beach interaction as well as the restaurant dialogue between Chuck and Sarah. Best of all, you let them display their feelings for each other. I'm looking forward not only to your epilogue, but hope I can encourage you to start a new story with our favourite characters. A great ending to the story. Yup, some things are inevitable. We have Team Bartowski, Casey has his little toys to play with, and we get the one improvement to the story that hopefully TPTB on the show will rectify very soon.

I like your paragraphs that were in Chuck's head, they seemed very in-character. To realize what he could potentially be doing yet wondering what he'd have to give up in order to do it. Sarah is certainly the person he should talk to (among other things), and his (somewhat) hardline stand against Beckman/Graham was a nice touch.

Not sure how much your dissertation was worth to your career, but I'd say everybody got more than their money's worth out of these 104,0 wonderful words. Excellent job.
