It's obviously been a long time since you wrote this and I'm not sure if you still read reviews, but I definitely wanted to leave one since I rarely do unless I feel the need. I loved this story and the slow coming together of Draco and Hermione without feeling as if they got together too fast I also enjoyed seeing everyone's perception as the story unravled giving the reader a glimbse into their thoughts. However, i enjoyed Draco's thoughts more than anything and felt he was really given redemption as to his action when he was a child and a teenager. I loved reading his thoughts and reflection regarding his past actions and how he learned to face so many aspects regarding himself and his viewpoints on both the world and his relationships. I enjoyed this Draco immensly. I'd have to say I wasn't a big fan of Hermione and that may have to do with me more being inclined to see how Draco just dealt with his family and life and looking forward to his reactions more than anything.
Can't say I relate to Draco's parents even as someone who is a parent. I believe them when they say they love their children and did want the best for them, however I do feel that they hurt Draco more than was acceptable as a parent. I just didn't really feel the sincerity. It just didn't sit well with me, and their excuses didn't make up for what they did either. In my opinion, it just wasn't enough and I'm glad Draco wanted to still get away from it all to find himself.
I loved the story though as it was written so very well and enjoyed what you brought to life. It was charming and sweet with just a hint of mystery that kept me on my toes wondering what was going on.

I loved this story. I have read your "We learned the sea" a while back and really enjoyed it. Don't know how this one skipped my notice. Usually when I read any Dramoine fic its about them turning from enemies to friends to lovers without much else going on in the story. I really liked that your story had a plot (an interesting one) and didn't just revolve around the love story. I really hope you keep coming up with stories. Thank you!

Draco’s parents honestly piss me off. All the guilt tripping and lying would honestly make me snap and hit one of them if I were draco.
