I have to go against some of the people who left you reviews, and in my opinion, weren't giving you friendly advise. One-shots, I feel are for people to study the characters and write them better. Therefore, so what if there are a few spelling mistakes and you got one line wrong from the film. Big deal. There was a discussion board on a LB site about what Marko says to David in the film. (little scene at the cave) Fans for decades, and even they were unsure what to make of it. So don't worry about that.

Moving on...

Wonderful piece of work from you. Honestly, I prefer Marko with the ladies but this was greatly done. The authority David had stood out, but he ended up crumbling. Marko has that affect on people, lol. The characters were kept true and IC. But... Marko was a little OOC here. Like I said, practise makes perfect in writing.

I really think you should make this a real thing. You know, like make a multi-chap of them together. I just LOVE this story and the pairing! The characters of them were spot on, and I was a little curious too as to why David said "You were right, Marko" and this kind of puts some dirty thoughts of them in my head...All in all, awesome story! Do you think you can make almost a sequel kind of thing?

I'm not a big fan of David/Marko, I'm more of a Sam/Marko gal, but this was great! And so hot

THAT aside, I think for a second fanfic, though some details were a tiny bit off (and that's okay because that's how we learn and you haven't seen the movie three times in one week like some freakazoid *cough* ME *cough*. Though it wasn't as weird as seeing Stand By Me twice in one day...)

For a second fanfic, this is really good! I think the characterisaton of Marko is pretty much spot on. Maybe it could do with Beta-ing for a couple of minor spelling issues, but the actual idea of it is good :)

Hi, I'm suer this is a lovely story, but you got a few things wrong. I'm sorry. First off, the child's name is Laddie (don't ask me why). And second of all, David doesn't say "You're right, Marko" the subtitles say that he says "You're all right, Michael" but what he really says is "Give me a ride, Marko" which is why Marko starts to push him around in the chair. I'm sorry if you're already been told this and i'm just getting repetative, I just thought that you should know. Keep writing!
