| carlea chapter 12 . 12/24/2017
i like how gibbs found a suitable punishment for tim without going through official channels and how he doesn't treat his differently because of the chair but adapts how he treats him
| Guest chapter 1 . 12/17/2015
This is an atrocious story! Where in the world do you get the idea that it is 'normal' to spank, beat and scold a disabled adult?
It is no way to treat a child and certainly no way to treat an handicaped person.
You made Gibbs a monster and Tim (the strongest character of NCIS) a helpless victim.

Again, I don't like the idea of someone getting beaten by a superior and accepting it. But I am surprised and shocked more by the fact that you made Ducky give that advice to Gibbs since his arms and hands are all that is left to McGee to function. Plus he is a doctor, he isn't supposed to give ideas of hurting people, it's so out of character. But I guess this is why it's called fiction, and fanfiction… Your imagination can took you to places you like, no matter how sickening it may be...
| Momcat chapter 10 . 8/27/2014
You are right, it is unfair to hit McGee like that because he needs his hands to be able to function, and I'm sure you're aware that corporal punishment is illegal in schools and workplaces… But as a parent-of a stubborn autistic person-I can understand the feeling of frustration and anger which hides the worry that one can feel about someone he/she cares when the person tends to do stupid things and put him/herself in unnecessary danger..
| Momcat chapter 7 . 8/27/2014
Well, having grown up with a father who beat us quite often, I can't say that I'm a fan of beating scenes, especially of a character as sweet and kind as McGee. And having a disabled child, I don't like the idea of disabled people being beaten either.. A head slap, I can understand, especially if the person is so stubborn to the point of risking his own safety ( I feel the same way with my hubby and children sometimes, a good smack wouldn't hurt, LOL) .. But I heaven't yet read the rest, I'll let you know after I do.. Nice work...

Actually this was a very interesting story...
It's a huge pity that it has not been completed.

I dont have a problems with being strapped on the hand.
I can remember once being strapped like that - on the hand - once when I was in primary school - but once was enough! Although this 40 years ago.
With all the rules now against corporate punishment, I dont think any school would allow paddling on the butt, or strapping the hand, as acceptable punishment.
