![]() ![]() ![]() Love it |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, he DID vanquish Voldemort. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ya know, that might have been one of the most impressive 'thought experiments' I've ever seen. It follows a lot of what we assume, uses a ton of what we know, and ends up with a future that would, almost certainly, be better than anything even the most well-intended MfM could do in all of their deeply entrenched idiocy and corruption. What a trip! Thanks so much for sharing :) |
![]() ![]() hehe reading the other comments tho... is it really all that bad that Voldemort is an insane, evil character? Like Tom Riddle was already slaughtering small animals as a small child, he was pretty fucked (serial killer behavior) already, excitedly talking about how he can make people hurt. There's this obsession in media lately that villains need to be redeemable, or deep and "gray" and nah I like characters that are just unapologetically evil and nutso. Like Kafka in ff6. One quote I had issue with tho "even I could not master the mind arts at that age."" which is bs because a Hermione who was not that much older performed a way more complicated and insiduous and evil bit of memory and mind magic on her parents and she was both not as talented as Tom and didn't have a natural predilection to mind arts. So that is totally believable. And the Trace is weird enough and fuzzy enough that it probably couldn't pinpoint Tom as using the magic if he uses a different wand. Harry never got dinged for spells used at Voldies resurrection after all! (Wouldn't that be funny...) |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was cute ] |
![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant and unique |
![]() ![]() ![]() This one felt really original to me, and I liked it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful idea. I love it when authors shed new light on canon. If anyone wants more of "Voldi restores his sanity that was taken away by horcruxes" story, I'd recommend Benefits of old laws by ulktante |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another gem. I love your writing. And pointing out the flaws in JR’s writings is such a guilty pleasure of mine. She created an amazing sandbox, but her details…? |
![]() ![]() Yay! It had a happy ending! |
![]() ![]() ![]() "Voldemort's anger peaked; the rage showing on his twisted face, but then suddenly disappeared completely, replaced with an unnatural calm." That Disney's Hercules moment was on point, and with Ralph Fiennes having portrayed Hades already on those other movies I could picture him and I almost choke laughing xD |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the backstory you gave Tom with the basilisk and Morfin and all the rest. |
![]() ![]() ![]() yes i'm sure tom can do much better than fudge and the other idiots who are driving their entire ppl into extinction through inbreeding and sheer stupidity |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another truly awesome read here hon! ;o) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant! |
