![]() ![]() I don't know if you still check on here or not, but this story is wonderful, the feeling and the way they talked also the relationship was well described, I really enjoyed reading this bittersweet story, at the end of the story I just could think wow amazing, I wonder if the writer write more about them? Well I hope you write more in this fandom My Gmail: shinelilac3 at Gmail dot com Hope to see a reply |
![]() ![]() ![]() a beautiful, bittersweet scene. Very poignant. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, now you've done it; I'm in tears. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What the day demands, indeed. I think parts of this _needed_ to be written, and I thank you for doing so. Must be winter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() My God. That was just... amazing. I saw it at and as soon as I started reading it, I couldn't peel my eyes away. It was written so amazingly. The story was just heart-breakingly brilliant, and I loved every word of it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant, fantastic, exceptional! Beautifully written beyond words! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesomely done! Really like these semi Waffy, semi angsty fics about the Shinsengumi's last days. Write more of RK/PMK soon, okay? |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was just so moving. It brought tears to my eyes! Beautifully written. It shows just how much the two care for each other, and that last part where Okita was talking about what he'd do-that was just so touching! I loved it. |
![]() ![]() My heartfelt thanks for all the reviews. I was a little bit uncomfortable with how human Saitou seemed (lol) so I am very glad to see that this "softer" version of him has been well received. I am so ashamed that I didn't think to research their actual ages before writing this. My apologies for the discrepancy in their relative ages. *does the honorable thing with her letter opener* |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've read this before...twice probably. But it seems, I can never appreciate it enough. At the moment, I'm at a loss for words. I have no idea what to say to express just how much of an impression this fanfiction has made on me. Well-written is something many fanfictions on this site have; insightful is something fewer possess; but yours, this one, carries so much more. Nevermind. As I said, I can't possibly review this properly: it's too perfect. All I can say in the face of something like this is that I truly enjoyed it, immensely. |
![]() ![]() Beautiful, simply beautiful! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent one-shot! The way Saitou and Okita danced around the fact that Okita was dying really struck home. This was a side of Saitou only implied in the anime series. You've given the character depth, humanity, and a sensitivity that wasn't clearly spelled out in Watsuki's version of the Shinsengumi captain. I LIKE this Saitou. He's still a wolf of Mibu, but he's human, with all of humanity's uncertainties and inability to deal coldly and logically with the prospect of losing a friend to illness. Amazingly good writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() this story was simply beautiful and the exchange between friends touching. your writing skills are stunning in capturing the mood! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was a beautiful story, and touching. I loved the vivid imagery; I could really see the things you were describing - the river, and the dense-packed houses. I liked the way you used the Japanese names for the clothing. Excellent grammar and style. |
![]() ![]() ![]() *wipes away tear* Beautiful. Simply beautiful. I love Okita-sama. And I ADORE Saitou-sama. So obviously I enjoyed this story. But one thing. I read one of the other reviews ya got, and it said that Saitou was 33 during RK. Actually, he was 35, and I can prove it if ya want me to (He was born in 1844. RK took place in 1879. 35 years. Trust me, there's nothing about Saitou-sama I don't know.) So Okita was actually older, by one year. But I find it hard to think of Okita being the older of the two. Anyway, beautiful story! Best fic I've read involving Saitou and Okita that wasn't yiao. And I hate yiao, so I wouldn't read one even if it WAS good. A MASTERPIECE! I LUV IT! A friend of mine recommended this fic, along with tons more. Just so ya know that she read it, whether she reviewed or not. |
