Reviews for It's an Odd Coincidence
eruvandi chapter 39 . 2/12/2012
Creed Vs Deadpool unfortunately cannot write a review at this moment. She has died from epicness.
C.C chapter 24 . 2/11/2012
Just a friendly reminder, but two years ago (I think) you told me that you would probably start writing the sequel in september.

September 2010.

I am re-reading this story for the fourth or fifth time, and I still mourn all that time without reading of Sidhien in the marvel world, with a new Wolverine fighting to keep her happy, Cyclops having to teach his new wife, and Boromir dealing with all these new surroundings. Kitty, Rogue and Bobby along with every other student probably know of the stories about the ever-beautiful elves (whereas Logan only knew the christmas ones) and have to convince themselves that such a one is now living with them and is Logan's girlfriend.

I hope you pick this sequel up again because at least once a month I think of this story and want to read more. Please Telcontar, this stuff is gold and even if more than the paltry few X-men movie/LOTR crossovers were around, this one would still be one of the absolute best.
Zman chapter 57 . 1/16/2012
Nice work Telcontar!Cant wait for the sequel!
fannut chapter 57 . 1/8/2012
Hi! Okay wekk I just finished your wonderfull story and I was wondering when you would be starting the next story because I really can't wait! )
Eviline chapter 40 . 12/29/2011
I absolutely adore the way Boromir is portrayed in your story. Many writers kill him off anyway, or let him live and turn him into a villain. Boromir is a good man, and this is the first time I see him portrayed as such in a story.

He was corrupted by the ring, yes, but he was loyal to his country and father. He loves Gondor and I can understand his distress when a long lost heir suddenly makes his appearance. I am eager to see how you portrayed him in the fight for Minas Tirith and the throne.
Eviline chapter 7 . 12/28/2011
Oh I can't stop laughing! (Which is absolutely detrimental to my job, good thing my boss isn't here) Its highly entertaining to read, and not because of the humour alone, but also because the interactions are so believable.
Eviline chapter 6 . 12/28/2011
Hahahahaa I can't stop laughing.

I can't wait for Logan to meet Gimli. They'll hit it off right away, beer and meat.
Darkcrest27 chapter 57 . 11/22/2011
great story. Looking forward to seeing a sequel
Steph chapter 14 . 11/14/2011
I started laughing at this point and had to hit the restroom it was that amusing. Very good!

"Those are not crows, Logan, no matter how much they resemble those birds," said Gandalf. "Those crebain are the spies of Saruman —the bad wizard, to put it simply."

"What is this Sah-roo-Mahn?" said Logan, scoffing. "Doctor Doolittle? They're birds, for God's sake! Are they gonna say, 'they're here, master. Polly wants a cracker'?"

"This is serious, Logan," said Aragorn. "Those birds are not natural. This route is being watched."

"By the Feathered Bureau of Intelligence?" said Logan.

"Suffice to say that we cannot remain here," said Gandalf. "We must hurry. I intend to reach the Pass of Caradhras by tomorrow afternoon." At that, everyone stilled, and Boromir let out a sigh.

"Caradhras is cruel and treacherous," he said. "I do not think it is the best course of action."

"What's the Pass of Carrot Dress?" said Logan. "If you tell me we're going to have to dress up in bright orange frocks, I am going to kill someone."

"Thank the Valar we are not dressing up in bright orange frocks, then," said Legolas, managing to keep his face and tone serious. "Now that you put it that way, Caradhras seems to be the more pleasant option. What do the rest of you say?"

"I wouldn't know about that, Son of Thranduil," said Gimli with a grin. Perhaps it was not the most sensible thing to do, but the rest of the Fellowship seemed to need cheering up, and he did enjoy making fun of the elf. "I would pay your weight in gold to see you in an orange frock."

"But would youdress up in an orange frock just to see Legolas in an orange frock, Gimli?" asked Pippin in all innocence. Only the mischievous gleam in his eye gave him away.

"Enough about orange frocks!" said Gandalf in exasperation. "There will be no orange frocks, or frocks of any sort! There are no lasses in this company. I should hope not, anyway."

"An orange frock might be an improvement on Gandalf's grey tent," said Merry with a shrug.

"We shall never know until we test it," said Frodo. He had to admit that he was terrified about the prospect of climbing that steep snow-covered mountain, but he was glad that he had these people to support him. Somehow, even during the direst of circumstances, they could still manage to jest and make everyone laugh, or at least grin. Everything seemed easier to bear when one was laughing.
petshop chapter 21 . 11/12/2011
Amazing! AMAZING! I just wanted to point out that while you make the proper distinction between a man and an elf, here you've been referring to female elves as women, which shouldn't be correct. I think the correct erm is elleth? Just wanted to make a point, since they aren't women, and you DID make such a distinction before with comments about "not being a man, but an elf" etc...

Wondering how this is all going to end and eager to read on!

LadyKittania chapter 27 . 10/7/2011
Hey there is a line here that makes no sense. This after the party gets horses from Eomer and goes to where the orcs were killed.

'He would have remained his chance for longer if Aragorn suddenly called out to them'

I just wanted to point it out so it could be fixed. Awesome story!
