What a great story! Kind of a tear jerker. You brought this a good conclusion with just enough angst to want more. I’m new to FF but have loved Chuck from the beginning. I followed a link to you from another author and I’m glad I did. I’ve read several other FF about Chuck, but this at least the second best if not the best I’ve read thus far. Thank you.

Every time you had the characters talking tech stuff, you got the details and the humor just right. I really enjoyed Chuck's half of the tech support calls, and those scenes where he assigned the Nerd Herd their daily jobs.

Great job contrasting Chuck in his normal-life dreamworld with what was happening in the real world. Great character moments for everyone. Nice use of Sarah's father and Bryce. Nice reuse of canon dialogue. Excellent scene with Sarah in the chapel. And that final chapter when everyone seemed to know they were living in Chuck's dreamworld, and he got to say a proper goodbye to them—especially when he got to tell Ellie the truth—was really powerful. I liked how he chose to go back to the harder life, even if it meant that he and Sarah couldn't be together. Well done!

I absolutely love it. I wish there was a little more to chuck and Sarah in the last chapter. but you don't always get everything you want. But to any others readers I suggest you drop everything else and read this NOW!
