This story get's the original elements of Naruto and attempts to inject the greater mythological themes, before we were told that the Biju were chakra-plant-expy's, and may have actually been the Bijuu of Korean Mythology.

The Kistune, humour, and pervisity are perfectly manga here... Good job.

I was troubled by the long arc of Hinata being terrified of Naruto, and even though it paid off in her literally Buffy the Vampire Slayering those buggers, it is a little Sad that Kurenai had to die for that payoff. So there really IS a grand conspiracy of bloodsuckers? Holy shit.

Great job with the stealth. I lolled at a lot of your scenes. Lots of organic moments. Great job, wish you would come back to fanfic.

This is honestly one of the greatest Naruto fanfics I've read, and one of the best ones at portraying kitsune in my opinion. I truly wish there was more I could read, but it's been a fun ride.

well kinda glad it ended here, the way it was going for the last couple of chapters sucked

that mind jutsu stuff with the clone is just stupid and unnecessary. Even if its to do some au stuff with it its still stupid.

The only thing I'd really have to criticise here is how easily Kurenai died. Yes, the nature of their enemies and that her own people had been turned came as a surprise. But she had been warned by Hinata of there being something wrong about them, is an experienced Jounin and proved in canon to be very good in evasion and decently paranoid. Adding to that, that this Kurenai apparently had taken additional training in fighting supernatural opponents and vampires in particular. She simply should have put up a lot better a fight than this, especially with her team being close enough to intervene within the first few moments of the fight breaking out. And with the amount of vampiric reinforcements ready to attack, she could have easily fallen to that instead of the first two. That would have seemed more logical to me, as well as further emphasizing the true danger of these vampires.

A pity this ended up discontinued. I really enjoyed reading it to this point. And the story still holds a lot of further potential.
