"Hitai-ate" meant "Forehead Protector" the SurnameFamily name first in Japanese is a form of stating on how connected you are in societyhow proud you are of what family you're a part of.

Moreover, "Konohagakure no Sato" is "Konoha" as Tree Leaves", "Gakure" or "Kakure" when it wasn't being used with another word means "HiddenSato" meant "Village"

Hi no Kuni aka Fire Country gain its name due to 2 Reasons, 1 is a Certain Season that makes the Trees of Hi no Kuni to look like Fire2 is when the Leaves of said Trees moves through the wind gave the Impression of said Forest Country to be a Fire Country. Same goes with Kaze no Kuni aka Wind Country, despite it being a Dessert, there's always a Powerful Storm of Wind.
