| The Jokers Jester chapter 4 . 11/24/2012
I love all your storys :) especially this series 5 star rating :) keep up with the good work
| FemaleSpock chapter 4 . 5/16/2012
Awww, I'm so happy that they became friends again!
| Ichireiro chapter 4 . 9/22/2010
Ah, another one of your fics read. It was tiny, but good as usual. These two really have come full circle, haven't they? I kinda hoped the Joker would accidently burn down the house and Jonathan would have to live with them again. Oh well. If wishes were horses-...well. Cranes, I suppose.
On a side note, I'm actually a fan of Repo! Mark It Up is one of my favorite songs from it, and for some reason, I can see the Joker enjoying it.
| The Wild Samlet chapter 2 . 8/16/2010
I'm glad you warned me because I was really confused for a second before I jumped back up and read the author's note.
Hello, Johnny. Look at Scarecrow, now look at me, now back to Scarecrow, now BACK to ME. Sadly, he isn't me, but if he (and by association, you) stopped lying around around in a room with no furniture he could be with me. Look down, back up. You're in a living room. What's in your hand? Back at me. Keys to a car leading to the man your alter ego (and you) has the hots for. Anything is possible when your man wears clown make up. I'm on a horse.
Okay...sorry...I'm so so sorry. The Oldspice commercial just came to my mind with the appearance of the Joker and the horse. So...I'm sorry. Again. Very, very sorry.

I've been thinking about Batman a lot this past month. I've been wanting to watch the movies again, but I've been resisting because I knew that if I watched them, then I would be on a Batman kick, which would mean I'd be returning to your fanfictions cuz I'm a Lauralot junkie. AND AS MUCH AS I LOVE YOUR WORK IT CANT HAPPEN YET. T_T I'm so busy, so I decided to read this shorter story, to, you know, tide me over til I have more time.
It's funny because back in May I saw 28 Days Later for the first time, and Cillian Murphy scared the crap outta me in part of that movie. Not cuz he killed everyone, but because for like the whole movie he was all "oh god...wtf..." *cowers* and then WHAM kills ALL THESE COMMANDO GUYS WITH NO REMORSE AT ALL. I'm thinking about that as I'm reading this. Just thought you'd like to know.
Okay...torch the scarecrow plan makes me amused. And a little horrified. But mostly amused. Just the way he phrased it. Is that bad?
And, I admit, I giggled a bit at the image of four or five people all diving at the Joker from different directions, mainly because my mental image is of four rabid Joker fangirls leaping on him. IT COULD HAPPEN.
I really love Scarecrow. I dunno why, and I may have felt this way last year when I was reading your work, but I really do like him. There's just something about him that reminds me of a feral cat, and I like it.
"Well then, I guess we'll both just lie here until we die."

Zydrate comes in a little glass vial
a little glass vial?
a little glass vial
and the little glass vial goes into the gun like a battery...
Gotta love repo!
One of my favourite musicals...
Mark it up is thee best! XD
Really loving the series so far.
At least the joker didn't manage to blow the house up... or accidently kill the horse... or Jonathon...
I loved the story.
Just sitting down for dinner and batman decides to pop in.
Poor Jonny seemed more upset about his doors than getting sent back to Arkham...
You're a really amazing writer!
Can't wait to start on your next story..
| Morhighan chapter 4 . 2/10/2010
Hello! May I say that your writing has absolutely brightened up my past week? It certainly has. I found myself going through rather bad Batman withdrawals, when I somehow stumbled upon your work. Read it, loved it. Turned to your other things and stopped for a moment. Being asexual myself, I usually have apprehension for any sort of romance or slash or anything. (Sufficient to say, it was lovely to find that I'm not the only one out here.)
I haven't written or read fanfiction in quite some time, but you've got the wheels in my head turning with your lovely writing.
Also, I was going to try to find a smooth way to slip Repo! in to this review, but it seems you already know of it, which made me bounce around the house giggling madly. Which happens a lot when I read your things.
I'd love to see you write for DC sometime, ok? You have a great grasp on the characters. If you had an artist, think on how amazing it would be. Of course, I wouldn't mind novels, seeing as imagining the scenes are so much fun.
Feel free to contact me any time,
P.S. Zydrate comes in a little glass vial.
| TheSodaVampire chapter 4 . 2/3/2010
No crying this time, only fan-girlish giggling. Loved it!
| Allison chapter 2 . 1/15/2010
Bonding with your food comes off as weird but ultimately I found it funny.
| Jack of Chocolate chapter 4 . 8/13/2009
It was so very terribly nice to see the Joker and Jonathan's situation turning for the better. Oh, it was simply giggle-inducing and laugh-provoking, both of which are essentially the same thing.
The ending left open a mahogany door of extreme imagination and opportunity, and I know that you will fill it with incredible wit and style.
Despite this being your shortest fic, it was short and light, like a tasteful cup of Illy coffee.
Thank you so much for writing.
And yes, Illy coffee is absolutely my favorite coffee of all time.
| MoonlitPuddle chapter 4 . 5/20/2009
LOL, even though this was short, it was just as brilliant as your other fics. Less gory and angsty and "wouldn't it be good to bang Crane's head on the wall"-y. _
Joker and Crane annoying Batman is hilarious. And Joker pushing buttons.
| Lunicole chapter 1 . 5/13/2009
Nice new story. I just love the idea of the Joker's drawing in Jonathan cell. In french, "I care about you" would be more like "Je m'inquiète pour toi". "Je m'intéresse à toi" is more like if he didn't know him and wanted to discover more about him. Like some weird pick-up line, sort of. Sorry if I'm not very clear... Anyway nice chapter!
| SetInSmoke chapter 4 . 3/13/2009
I really love how Jonathan is more worried about Joker calling Nightmare a pony, then the clown calling him a little girl. P
Priorities. Sometimes, I guess, super villains don't really have them set straight...
| 4ofCups chapter 4 . 2/28/2009
"You’re gayer than a handbag full of rainbows." LOL!
Why does it not surprise me that the Joker would microwave soup while it was still in the can? Sigh. What piece do you think the Joker would be if he played Monopoly? Since there's no drum of oil or bomb, would he be the shoe? It's sort of comical and looks scrappy, a bit like the shoes he wears. The image of them playing Monopoly is humorous: I don't see the joker taking it well if he landed on Jonny's Boardwalk with a hotel.
This was really an enjoyable story, even though it was brief. I could actually see the fun of the Joker and Harley breaking into Jonny's cell to play Scrabble, as if it were merely a slumber party date, and not a reunion in a mental institution. I found myself thinking how much fun it would be to take part in it, because you've done such a fine job with your stories in bringing the humanity to these villains.
"Say, Say, Oh Playmate" was the version that I had learned, and that was a MAJOR blast from the past when I read it in your story. I don't think I've done the hand-clapping for that song since 1979. Very well-placed references in this story, and I'm looking forward to seeing where the next one will go!
| 4ofCups chapter 3 . 2/28/2009
I liked the humor in Jonny's reminiscing about his prior encounter with a skittish horse, and how the owner hanging from the stirrups and a crazed man jumping on its back might have led to skittishness. Might. :) Well done with the details about the horse and grooming - I know nothing about horses myself, but your descriptions come across as if you have equine experience. (Doesn't Wikipedia rock?) Great image of Scarecrow wanting to pull a Headless Horsemen number, tearing through the streets with a scythe, while Jonny could settle for a trot around the yard. Very interesting point about the subliminal connection some girls may feel with horses... and how thoughtful of the Joker to point it out as if Jonny were a girl.
As for bringing food and drink that Jonny can't partake in, resulting in more for his own consumption, if that isn't the opportunistic Joker we all know I don't know what is. And dang it, it's still endearing! Jeez, I'd fall for the Joker again, even if Jonny doesn't.
