Some town USA and all that, how many gay clubs are there in that area. I think he will take it well.

Awww, our dear sweet Jasper has found a broken hearted man, not the boy he knew briefly, but the one who became an SOB to salve his crushed spirit, and he knows without a doubt that there is a beautiful man inside desperate to find his way out. with the right person, Jasper is the one who will heal his damaged soul. I am suspecting Mama and Papa Cullen were not so welcoming of their gay son.

Oh, my, my heart be still that was beautiful, the lovely boys who knew each other in high school. The poor sweet tender hearted Edward who was broken by cruel unfeeling men, yet who wasn't mean to the geeky kids, even after he had his heart ripped from his chest, and the sweet Jasper who watched him weeping when he saw Edward tossed aside like so much trash.

Awww, I am a softy for damaged Edward's who in the arms of the right person becomes the person he doesn't often show the rest of the world. I don't lnow why fully, except I always think of most Edwards as the canon Edward in another form. And canon Edward was certainly damaged. He was alone for over a century, living in a house surrounded by three loving couples. He hated himself, thought he had no soul, thought he was a monster. His depression and self-loathing was apparent even in his appearance, he was the one who stood out from the rest, he was the one who wore dark clothing a reflection of his depressed state of mind. yet as much self hatred he was a good person underneath his dark demeanor. This Edward is the same, soul destroyed by the crude fumbling of the men who took him, He was still a good persom, as Jazz said, never mean to the geeky kids. I love this dear man already.

Jasper and Edward were in school together, either in elementary or high school or they were in college together though Edward may not remember Jazz, they may have run in different crowds, but Jazz would know the outgoing Edward

Well Edward, you never know what you are missing, good chapter, can't wait to read more. me too but I will only ever read E and J just cause they look so cute together and if the real ppl were gay, Id love to see them as a couple they have a history and they are both musicians

Ok, so I realise that this story is from a while ago now, and for all I know you don't even check the reviews for it anymore.

That said, this was a recent recommendation by a friend of mine who, knowing my love of slash, told me in no uncertain terms to READ THIS, IT'S BRILLIANT. The caps I feel imply her enthusiasm. I write more than I read and so there are so many stories I have yet to discover (many may already be pulled and I will never know them), and my kindle is loaded up with stories I hope one day to read.

However, because of my friend I have just spend the last two days of my Christmas break immersed in OTT and my eyes are red rimmed and sore. And you know what? I loved every damn minute of it. Life can be cruel and unfair, but wonderful things can happen because of that. This story broke my heard and mended it over and over again and I wept for those boys at every turn. To be able to paint raw emotion in such exquisite detail makes my heart sing and the tears flow. To keep the characters canon made it an even more perfect experience because I wanted them to be such.

It takes guts, ambition and ability to be a writer, but it takes sheer talent to write such perfect angst that I could not put my kindle down, save for sleeping and having to interact with people who insisted on interrupting me.

So, I'm sorry I'm so late to the party, but I feel I have discovered a perfect jewel in a pile of rocks and for that I just wanted to say Thank You.

I truly loved this fic. I'm late to the game but it really is a wonderful story.

The first part of this chapter reminds me so much of the song "give me love" by ed sheeran. It's a lovely song *sheds a tear*

Loved it just as much this time round as last time.
