Reviews for The Starting Point
Guest chapter 1 . 5/20/2016
On tv, Lancer would have greatly benefited from more stories like, "The Starting Point".
One of the intriguing themes of the show - was the bonding of the family is done in reverse. Strangers meeting later in life. Forging a family in the face of lost time. And in spite of the odds, developing profound relationships with one another.
But, to get to that end - they needed to show more stories about how they got there.
Your story, is a terrific first step, down a path that is
In desperate need of more exploring.
More, please...

Another great fic. Love the developing relationship between them. Always thought the show should have had more episodes where they didn't get on because they always seemed too friendly to each other very quickly. Murdoch wouldn't be an easy man to get on with, especially with all his rules and calling the tune.

shallowz chapter 1 . 2/16/2009
This was just so well done! Captured that awkward time of these three men getting to know each beautifully.

Good story! One of the things I remember was that Murdoch seemed to have trouble dealing with the the idea that his sons were grown men. He treated them with a complete lack of respect and courtesy. Excellent story.
