I honestly think you have one of the fondest understandings of Nia's personality on this website, and you demonstrate it well when you write "Nia knew hard, and pain - she simply rejected them. I notice most people interpret Nia's optimism as mere innocence, so I'm glad to have found a fanfic that knew that to be false.

I especially can't get over Nia's reaction to finding a starfish in the water. It's such a simple yet brilliant moment that felt so genuine. Thank you.
