I loved the story but It really did broke my heart I cried so much when I finished reading it was just so sad I wish that he could at least tell her that he loves her but it was too late but overall I liked the story your a great writer and I hope you continue writing. If you write any storys in future I hope you make it less dramatic and a give it a happy ending. thank you

I am in love with this story.
I just am. I like how you put in Rebecca and Barry, and the last line, "and Chris redfield cried." I just wished that Jill had woken up and Chris confessed his love for her, and then she had died in his arms. Just saying. I also loved when Chris talked to her in her last moments of life. This story was so sweet. Thank you for uploading it.

what you've done? You let her die?
You let her die!
Oh my god, that was so touching and...I cried...
A really, really good story, pretty one of the best I ever read.

You can't have it end like that please. If you care anything about your readers you wouldn't dare end it like that. I ask you please add another chapter and bring her back. She deserves Chris and Chris deserves her. Please it can't end, not like this
| Alavon chapter 5 . 11/11/2010
I guess it didn't help that I was hearing "Things Left Unsaid" by Disciple... :( Great job...and congrats for making me cry...

A true tour de force!
While Capcom spends most of its time on zombie-killing action and Z movie dialogue, you've taken the best parts of the franchise and polished them up to a radiant shine. It's amazing to see you wring such powerful emotions out of these characters. You make it look easy.
Chris's problem was handled very well, first dismissing the viral notion as out-of-hand (he's spent years seeing what it does), then embracing it as Jill spirals downward before finally accepting that she as a BSAA agent and survivor wouldn't have wanted life at that price. Even if they're just fictional characters, the Resident Evil characters really breathe in this story.
Very well done

such a great story! Made me cry like crazy!
| CHJ chapter 5 . 1/22/2010
So...is Rodriguez the Merchant, then? Lol, that's all I can think of!
Anyway, that was really great. I thought your writing was wonderful and not one bit out of character, which is mostly what I really loved. All too often I find that fan fiction has characters doing things out of character. I hope you write more RE fiction, if not just a sequel to this story.

That was a really good story. Really. The flow was great, the characters were realistic, and the plot was really great: I guess I never really thought that well-loved characters, especially awesome ones like Chris and Jill, would succumb to things that normal people would go through. I kinda went through the same thing as Chris. I was reading the earlier chapters and went, "Yes! He finally got it!" when he acquired the virus, but I didn't really think about what would happen after, but I think what happened reflected Chris, Jill, and how Chris would think about Jill in a situation like this. I hope this isn't the end, but if it is, it was a great way to finish things.

Wonderful, yet sad story! Poor Chris & the others!
I really liked reading this story, because it honestly teaches people about life: DON'T TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED! Cherish the people you love, tell them what's on your mind & in your heart! Don't hold grudges; make peace!
Anyway, keep up the wonderful work! Fabulous job! _

Goodness its frightening to see how far Chris has fallen so to speak with his obsession. Yes he could save Jill's life but transforming her into the very creatures she sought to destroy really a life given?
I really loved Barry's reaction to Chris's return it is something I could see him doing in canon. Same with Rebecca's reaction.
Its interesting the price Chris is paying for his desperation and for his deal with the devil so to speak.
I can't help but wonder if deep down Jill knew where he had gone or what he had intended to do. If she chose to hold out until his return so she could part ways with him, and still die with her mind intact.
I love that Chris finally receives his chance and chooses to respect Jill's memory and what they had shared by refraining. How from it comes the acceptance of truth and what it means to him.
I thought his confession was entirely heartwrenching, yet so sincere. I like to think that she heard his words, that it gave her the peace she needed to let go. That the fleeting figure outside was her in her own way telling him that he would go on. That she would remain near.
This was a beautiful ending so heartbreaking and yet so brutally honest I loved it!
As for Rodriguez the only one I could think of was from Outbreak 2 *blushes* Some RE fan I am! :faint:

I was on the brink of tears the entire time. I just found this in the just in section and cursed myself out for not having spotted this long ago.
You, my friend, deserve praise for the novelizations of the emotions, and certainly and instant fave from me.
Magnificent fic and hope to see some stuff from you soon.
