Awww... it's cute ;)
I like how you describe relationship between Stella and Mac. It seem so real.
I'm wonder what say team when they come together at the crime scene :D
| smut1956 chapter 1 . 4/15/2010
All that introspeciton on Mac's part paid off with Stella's impulse. The contrast of slow and steady vs. fast and impetous. Once you got them together it was excellent in terms of the romance and the desire, yet putting the desire on hold for the right reasons.
Thanks for sharing.

I understand what you mean about being worried about living up to expectations, and that's a good way to put it about defending being harder, but really, there is no need to worry. This was superb. I enjoyed every single word of it, and have re-read a few times, before having the time to review and do it justice. I love very much how you write the characters, they are alive, and completely 'in' character, in that I can see both Mac and Stella and hear their words. It seems natural for this to happen. I love the humour of Stella and sense of fun that you capture as she tells Mac for instance that it's still coffee, and I love her making the move on Mac, and how he responds and almost surprises himself, but then feels that a weight has been taken from him. you wrote their closeness and passion very well too, and again, very much in character for Mac not wanting it to go too far without it being a special moment. It was beautifully decribed the exploring of each others touch and their hands joinging and eyes looking at each other, I loved reading that. It ended perfectly too, again I could see exactly Stella's reluctance to go out into the cold again, but how they leave holding hands and with the knowledge that it will be 'their' apartment. I love how that sets up for more. i'm really looking forward to your next piece.

| Timeforachange chapter 1 . 2/21/2009
this is a really good story. I want to know what will happen to them later. and what the team will say. and how the team will react. I also want to know is Mac and Stella is taking it slow in the beginning. are they gonna tell the team right away or are the team gonna find out themselves?

| Asprine chapter 1 . 2/20/2009
It was very detailed and stated explicitly. I'm amazed by it. Due to the descriptions and the characters that you captured so well and how you did not rush things.. Soft and One step at a time. Thank you for this story. I love it! )!

| Synnove chapter 1 . 2/19/2009
I just started reading this - to be honest, right now I'm only halfway through, but I wanted to commend you on the length of this piece. There aren't many writers that can pull off writing a single chapter with 12,241 words and *still* keeping the readers interested. I'm looking now at other CSI: New York fanfictions and I see 15,923 words in 16 chapters; 39,223 words in 43 chapters... the list goes on. What you do is exemplary, and I love it. Where other writers tend to loose the readers with detailing, whether its because of lack of detail, or overuse, you keep the reader enthralled with beautiful insight into the characters of Mac Taylor and Stella Bonasera.
I love it. When I have time after I finish reading this, I'll send you a more thorough review. Until then, keep writing. :D
