![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, Bruce is so cute when he doesn't know what to do. *pets him* At least he knows enough to watch how much drugs he pumps into Jonathan's system. And there's something really cute about Jonathan getting all calm...and then decking the Joker. Well, cute and awesome. Nice to know Joker's experiencing new things. And Johnny's got a smile on his face. *pets him* |
![]() ![]() ![]() "Damn, this had been an idiotic plan. How could Jonny have agreed to this?" Haha, way to go Joker! :D I can't help thinking anything else but poor Jonny, if he'll sometimes be okay again and realize all the pain he's been through - for nothing! I've had difficulties trying to decide whether I like the caring Joker or not. After reading this chapter I have to admit I think I still love him, maybe even more than I did before It's just more interesting that the characters evolve a bit. But then again, would the Joker be _the Joker_ if he started acting humane and caring about people? It's complicated but I trust you, Lauralot, to draw the line somewhere. Like you've done before :) Thank you for this amazing fic! _ |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome! A perfect chapter if there is one I'm going to watch Star Treck this afternoon *smile* Was it that good? XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay, ergot! When Alfred leaves, things go wrong. :) I'm a little more sympathetic to your Joker in this chapter. The uncharacteristic concern, along with the vague feeling of guilt that he can't quite place, is very well done. Leave it to Bruce to try to gently knock someone unconscious. Sure, blame Jonny for agreeing! It's sad, but funny too. You seem to be good at that. Damn, you, Bruce! Not going along with the plan and allowing the villains to escape! 'is it?” He asked' needs to be 'is it?” he asked' No capital H. He's right, actually. Everyone knows the bad things can't get through the blankets. They can't get onto a bed either, there's some type of African shaman-conjured demon that can't hurt you if you're on a bed... The image of a supervillain snugglefest is oddly sweet. I really want a villain sleepover now, with sugary snacks and patterned PJs and bad movies...poor things deserve a night off, after everything they go through. It is definitely possible to hurt yourself with a plug. Don't ask how I know this. Happy Mothers' Day, ~Liz |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, not only does the Joker feel quilty but he's also going to have to sacrifice his dignity to escape. At least he has the sense to not say Bruce instead of Batman, that would probably make Jonny panic even more. But the Joker had better wait until Jonny's better to run for it. He promised to protect him after all, though he's not doing the best job at it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, no. I don't know what I can really say about this... I love Guilty!Joker, it's so much fun watching him struggle with and try to weasel out of this alien emotion he's feeling. And then to discover that Bruce is semi-prepared for this eventuality! *snerk* It does make sense. The Joker tends to think that others think like or are like him, so naturally he'd assume that neither Bruce nor Alfred would have thought any deeper about Jonny's potential for melting down faster than a Sno-cone dropped on asphalt in July. And Jonny has resources when he's in meltdown mode that never show at other times. I'd say 'Way to go, Jonny!' except that he's hurting himself. No like blood... I bet you could draw blood with an electrical plug if you were sufficiently motivated, which I am glad you are not. Hugs for you and Jonny, J. Favorite line: 'He was the only sane man, balancing on a rock in an ocean of instability. And if he had to deal with this weird feeling for much longer, he’d be swimming.' |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay! You updated! Ah, this was a good chapter, as usual. What is Joker going to do now, since his plan failed? Thanks for writing! And, yes, I will see Star Trek! (But only after I finally see Wolverine. Not enough time, I tells ya!) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sort of surprised that these goings-on have affected the Joker at all... and I'll admit I'm not entirely sure why that is... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Please please update soon! OMG! I'm going to go freaking crazy waiting! Jonathan, jonathan crap! NO! Bruce save him! Haha, the Joker is feeling guilty-ish! He deserves that! GAH! The annticipation is already driving me insane...MAD AS A HATTER! Blah! Luvs, byeahs... |
![]() ![]() ![]() oh god...poor johnny.. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my gosh. You went to see Star Treck didn't you? You lucky, lucky girl! D I wanna go see it. Anyway, I feel bad for all three of them. Poor Bruce, dealing with Joker and Jonny. Poor Joker, being so disturbed when he should be feeling happy about this. Poor Jonny. (I don't think an explanation would be needed) Ya, you can draw blood with the prongs of an electrical plug. Don't ask. Let's just say it was pretty painful. And it bleed. Quite a bit actually. Great chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aww, I liked this side of the Joker! But, food processors? D: Thanks for updating! Sorry it took me so long to read this. Had no time, ya see. I really enjoyed it, though! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, Joker is actually feeling guilty. He doesn't recognize it as such, and he wants it to stop because he doesn't like it, but at least he feels something. Which he should because Jonny's predicament is all his fault. I like how he expects Batman to fix the mess he made though. I assume the story is drawing near the end, mainly because Jonny now needs Arkham and most of the other stories in this series end when Jonny needs a hospital or Jonny.:( You really do love to torture him.; |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Jonny. Poor, poor Jonny. At least Joker's being nice to him now right? Well, as nice as Joker can be anyway. Can what the Clown Prince of Crime be feeling guilt? Well, maybe not guilt. Joker doesn't really feel guilt does he? Something close to guilt? Anyway, great chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() AW! NO! It'll be okay jonathan! hang on! NO! *cries into hands* Poor, adorable, lost-puppy-like jonathan. |
