![]() ![]() ![]() Omg I love this chapter. I love Jonny & the Joker! I can't believe what I'm seeing (or reading) Joker is so caring! Poor Jonny, he seemed to bee feeling really bad :/ Those references to Act Like We Are Fools made me want to read that fic again, I think I'm going to :] The ending of this chapter is great, left me anxious to read the next one (as always, haha..) |
![]() ![]() ![]() *jaw drops* is joker feeling...guilty? *looks awround* here that? its teh sound of a parrlell universe imploding *runs off to note the date and time* |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is so heartbreaking, and perfect! This is one of the best chapters of this story so far, no doubt (well, there were several others that were really really good too). Looking at the others reviews, I don't see anything original that I could say so I'll just say this : Thank you for bringing us such a great story, keep on the (really) good work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw, the Joker's conscience rose from the dead for one last hurrah. I assume that, even for someone like him, it must be unnerving to watch someone you know lose all contact with reality, especially if you're responsible for it. Speaking of driving people insane, though, that line about Harley was funny in a morbid way, or more the way he said it was funny. 'Except for that time where he destroyed her outlook and self-worth'...And then, that part about the childhood memories not 'seeming entirely true, looking back on them'...lol. Poor Harley. The mythbusters are awesome, but I didn't see that one. Salsa is probably a bit acidic, but how does the radio help? |
![]() ![]() The only story I have read yet that gives the Joker any kind of human ability to empathise without deviating from his character. The "I want you to stop hurting because it's making ME feel bad and I don't like it" angle is perfect. I love every line of every story you write. Please don't stop evolving these characters. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry I missed reviewing the last chapter. Finals are kind of consuming my entire life right now. Anyway, these chapters have been amazing. I feel so terrible for Jonathan right now, possibly more than I have in any of your previous stories, too. If even Joker is beginning to feel bad, I can't imagine how bad off Jonny must really be. I hope Bruce can help them out in time. :( By the way, as soon as I read the bit about the bars, files, salsa and radios, in my head I immediately screamed "MYTHBUSTERS!" I love that show dearly. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome chapter! I'm rendered speechless XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey, enjoy the time with your friends, hun. God knows there's little enough of it. *is already on the verge of her annual end-of-the-year breakdown* May as well not have happened? Such as that disassociation that never happened, hmm? Joker really is a bastard. An amusing bastard (good-looking enough indeed) but an absolute bastard. Destroying his friend to preserve his own dignity. Good, at least he has the sense to realize that something is seriously wrong. Heh, Bat Sense, Spidey Sense...we need a Wolvy Sense, just 'cause Wolverine's so completely awesome. :) Have you seen the movie yet? So it seems Joker does care about Jonny, even if he can't admit to himself. Good. "Fix this." No explanation, no apology, no request, just the simple order. And he's so convinced that Batman can do anything, even save raving scarecrows. He's not nearly as infallible as he'd like to think. Peace, love, and cheesy snacks, ~Liz |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, you mean salsa as in the dip-condiment, not salsa music. That was causing me some confusion and prompting very strange images in my head. Seeing Jonny deteriorate like that is...distressing. I can only hope your plans for him involve him coming back from that dark vacuumn where he currently is. I would like to bounce the Joker's head off a desk-while it's still attached, please. May I? Even though he'll go all fuzzy? At least he's starting to realize he's done something very wrong. It's not often that he has to deal with the consequences of his actions, and rarer still that he cares. And I do love the last line, or rather the last words. 'Fix this' *snerk* Later, J. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm happy I recognized the shout out to mythbusters. XD Makes me feel special. Poor Johnny; Scarecrow left him. That in particular is probably the best bit of dialogue; if only because Joker probably doesn't know what he's talking about. Joker trying to pass Jonathan off at the end was also rather nice. Holding him out like a pet for Bruce to take. Also, nice almost slip of "Help." :D Things are about to get cute...I mean fun...I mean um. Whatever. It's cute. |
![]() ![]() Come on, Jonathan, grow some backbone! Ah well, I guess there's always his withdrawal to look forward to. I have to say that it was pretty amusing in Mad Friends (which seems like such a long time ago, its strange) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, Jonny through withdrawal. I guess Scarecrow won't be coming out any time soon (probably yell at Jon being an idiot if he did). Y'know it'd actually be interesting to see Joker slap someone, there's just something about a slap that is...well to me it says "I'm putting you in your place," whereas a punch is more to cause pain. So yeah, wonder if Bruce will catch on in time (and I mean on Joker's time). Heh, listen to me cheering for the villains. Awesome. |
![]() ![]() Aw, I feel so bad for poor Jonny. The way the Joker manipulates him reminds me of a little puppet getting its strings pulled. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, 'rain drops on roses... and opening fire on school buses'. Ooh, Bruce and Crane can be pretty nice, too! Hee, thanks for writing! I really liked this chapter, and am anxious for the next! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aww, poor Jonny! Well, it's good to be home, I tell you what. Shopping was fun and all, but getting up before six? So tired! Glad about hte stuff that I bought, though! Thanks for updating! I enjoys this chapter, as per usual! |
