And wow, I'd *love* Scarecrow to have my back in a fight. -_- I kind of hope that the Joker keeps this promise in some weird sort of way. Or that he keeps it through the medium of weirdness.

That all sounded pretty ambiguous and confusing. Humm. Think of it what you will, because general parts of my anatomy are complaining and today is indeed turning out pants faster than a laundromat equipped with conveyor belts.

Oh no! Poor Jonathan, don't trust the Joker :( The part, where Scarecrow leaves Jonny, makes me feel so sad. Lauralot, you have to take good care of Jonny. If he gets hurt once again I'm not sure if I can take it

Great chapter, anyway. The general feeling in this chapter is suddenly way more serious than in the earlier ones (like in 42 & 43), I like it. I love this fic :]

I feel really bad for Johnny,

he doesn't want to trust the Joker,

yet he still has to (at least with his reasoning).

I can only hope that the Joker for once,

keeps his promise...

but I don't really believe it,

which make me sad.

It somehow feels like watching 'Titanic',

every damn time I watch this movie,

I still hope that maybe the ship won't sick,

or Leo doesn't die, even if I know the story already.

My only hope now is that I don't know this story already and maybe...

But that said, it was an awesome chapter!

Very touching and you just had to feel for Johnny.

Aw, poor Jonny, stuck in this horrible situation because of Joker wounded ego (I just want to pat his head and tell him everything is gonna be ok but we all know it's not true).

I was so happy for him when he put the Joker in his place.. twice (!) ; after the whole withdrawal and hallucinations and probably after he realised that the Joker has broken his promess once again (like he care about Jonny's safety at all..), will you make him a little more badass?

I mean he is adorable like that but, even if he is not playing in the same field as the joker he is still a supervilain and he can be quite frightening sometimes..

Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter, good job!

Heh, right now I'm in a hotel room. I've been up since 6:30 this morning, and right now it is 10:57... Tired... Drove six hours to get to Anchorage with my sisters for a shopping weekend! Woo! Well, I liked this chapter a whole bunch! Thanks for updating! (Haven't watched Darkwing Duck in forever! Maybe I'll buy some, too. XD)

Poor Jonathan. Caught between the rock and the hard place, unable to refuse, knowing what will happen if he doesn't. His thoughts on Batman and Joker were wonderfully done, his decision that even if Joker is the spawn of Satan, Batman is the devil himself. I suppose it's true. For all their separate intentions, both inflict incredible amounts of damage. But Joker's usually aren't quite as permanent.

Let's hope Scarecrow comes back soon. Quite apart from how amusing he is, I don't think poor Jonathan could handle his loss for long.

you know...I THINK I know where this story is going but I can't be sure...

I think Jonny should be listening to his little friend Scarecrow more on this one, because it's a bad idea beyond all fathomable badness. And then some. And oh. Very bad. Plus painful. Beyond whatever symptoms he has when he's not medicated, the withdrawal symptoms themselves will be no picnic either. And trusting the Joker...Just because he bought him a horse once...oh.

But well written!

Hey! You've gone and updated again before I had a chance to review this one. Isn't that just sneaky of you...I can't blame Bats for being cautious about finding the Joker in a kitchen, there really is too much dangerous stuff in one. But having Joker just wander wherever he likes in the mansion is such fun...

Oh, dear. Jony off his meds? I'm betting the symptoms start within twenty-four hours. By forty-eight, he should be climbing the walls and chewing the rug. Now I must hurry off to read the next chapter, this is too much fun.

(Stupid words, that sentence sounded good in my head until I realised that escape and escapade are nearly the same...)

I hate tomatoes... unless they're in pasta sauce or something like that. Blarghghl.

Flushing pills, I might try that with the stupid oil capsules my mum makes me take. She doesn't believe that they don't work. Placebo effect; I'm willing them not to because I hate the aftertaste.

This just in, my laptop is working again. :) Obviously, as I'm writing this review on it. Now I've got to put all my junk and things back where they were, in their absolutely-correct places.

Next few days are going to be pants.

Uh Oh, In a few days those pills will leave Jonny's system and slowly but surely he will go all crazy again. Batsy had better keep him away from nail guns and scythes.

Though I'm a bit confused as to why the Joker just can't demand the Bat take him back to Arkham. He's still got the bomb leverage, unless it's just more fun with Jonny-Off-His-Meds-Crane.
