Dry cake mix isn't that strange. How different could it be from cooked cake mix, really? It sounds delicious... like eating cocoa or brownie mix...

It must be torture for a narcissist with unresolved emotional bonds to someone to go completely unrecognized for his efforts like that. I'm surprised he isn't being bitchier/whinier about it.

(btw: I haven't reviewed in a few chapters, I know, so I want to retroactively compliment the most recent arc with the psychotic break. That was unexpected and highly enjoyable.)

The entire opening scene is great, from Batman's analysis of Joker's dazedly happy look as vaguely concussed to Joker's utterly redundant "vanishing into thin air like a vanishing thing." I may have to use that somewhere.

Hyperactive three-year-old Joker is possibly even more entertaining than raunchy and crossdressing Joker. Definitely better than mannequin Joker.

Poor Jonny. I'd be interested in getting his take on this.

Joker never gives up, does he? I love that he just assumes that since Bats isn't locking him in a concrete closet anymore, Batman's admitted his love and is ready to make like a bunny rabbit, and that his only current concern is where he can stick Jonny while this is going on.

I can't make up my mind whether your Joker really is convinced that Jonny is stuffed with straw, or whether it's just his personal joke that he's taking WAY too far. Either way, Jonathan is in danger of losing his head.

Purple coat of sex. Best . Descriptor. EVER. Really, if he wasn't so terrifying, he WOULD look like a pimp.

PERFECT timing and reaction, when everything goes back to normal and Joker snaps out of it to be so happy!

That kiss part, yeah, pure perfection!

So, here they all are. The Batman, the Joker, and the Scarecrow (or at least Jonny in his outfit sans the mask). It's touching how much Jonny cared for Joker through all this. I bet Scarecrow's exasperated :P.

I'm sorry I only review like every other chapter, but this is performance month and finals are coming up soon. You understand ;).

"He violated me." I lol'd. I can totally picture Batsy saying that in his serious business face.

I never, ever review. Ever. But I've been completely and unexpectedly sucked into this fic and it's so good that I feel guilty for not saying something. So, yeah, it's awesome. And so are the ridiculously frequent updates.

Oh. My. Lost-Puppy-Reunion!Joker is just so huggable-although I guess I'd have to pry him off Batman to do it. How can I quote my favorite bits of this chapter? It's all great. Batsy/Bruce's increasing discomfort, Jonathan's snarkiness, all the hugging, the sparkling with joy-and the kiss. Oh, that kiss.

And of course the Joker would be delighted that Batman punched him. I mean, was Bats not there for the interrogation scene? My only question is, why did he start with the head AGAIN? He should know better by now.

'Grown-up time.' I take it back. That and 'He violated me.' are my favorite parts. And 'the purple coat of sex' Um. Back to the problem I started with. Too much favorite stuff.

Damn, but you're good. Comedic genius.
