I love that the Joker's got casts on. XD That just takes away about half of his street cred. Although... I don't love the fact that I looked up walking casts up in Google Images and one of the first results (if not the first) was a picture of someone with bone spurs on their heels.

I wish I knew people I could visit randomly and eat biscuits with and stuff. But we have to make appointments out of everything...

Probably so they can hide their fetish gear or whatever. XD

This morning I told myself that I very definitely WASN'T going to check FFN for updates of your story, because you're been so prolific lately and I'm getting a bit addicted. I said I'd stay away from this site for at least a week. Well that clearly didn't stick. Your story is too damn tempting. Thanks for another brilliant chapter.

Okay, here's an unexpected twist. The Joker checks himself out of the Wayne Motel, having found himself his 'out but with dignity', and I love it. Plus he's jealous of Jonny.

What I also love is how you hide the most meaningful and significant things with humor. The exchange at the end where Batman extends his hand to help the Joker, even though it costs him to do it is a prime example. As is his reply. Damn, but you're good!

Ah, exactly what I need! I'm feeling a little out of sorts tonight, nothing serious, and a chapter of yours fits the bill.

Jonny misses the Joker when he's gone? That's so sweet. Sorta. Love him hiding under Bruce's kitchen table clutching a teddy bear. He sure regresses under the influence of sedatives when off his antipsychotics, doesn't he? Hope he's back to his snarky self again soon.

Also great; the 'interview' with Summer Gleeson. Especially her expression when contemplating the Joker as a willing rape victim. It does boggle the mind, doesn't it?

So now Batman has one less prisoner to contend with, and that one is, at the moment anyway, fairly managable. But when the antipsychotics kick in, I'm sure he'll be much stroppier.

Oops. Somehow I missed reviewing chapter 54. How did that happen? I read it...Must go do that now.

A wonderful end; the news cast was a great way to wrap things up with Joker (who at least is wise enough to seek medical attention for his legs) and the scene with Jonathan under the table was adorable.

I just started reading all of your work about a week ago, and I have to applaud you, girl. I love the storylines, and you are freaky good at getting inside the characters' heads. Like everyone else, I thought the teddy bear thing was adorable. I was looking at mine and thinking, "Hell, if he's that scared, I would let him borrow..." so it was very satisfying that he finally got something to cuddle with.

Is anyone else picturing Alfred driving home from the market or someplace, and driving past a maniacally giggling Joker, or is that just me?

And Joker just left Jonny alone with the batman. Who has gone to sleep and left him alone with no supervision of any sort. Smart move, Bats, real smart.

Though at least Joker got something out of Batman, he should be fairly happy or at least happier now.

Amazing. That was incredible! The best chapter! I love this. It was so dramatic, cute, beautiful, dark and fun at the same time. My emotions are so messed up right now. Great work, Lauralot :') Thank you. It was so well written: the last Joker and Batsy-scene was just amazing. The dialogue was clever and very interesting to read. And the thought of the Joker being jealous is beyond cute. Omg I have to calm down now :P And your kitten is adorable! Have you already got a name for him?:D

I kinda feel sorry for Crane but no matter; approximately everyone likes Jonny-angst (which hopefully ensues). I know I do!

When I was watching the movie and Bruce played those notes and suddently a secret door opened I was like 'you gotta be kidding me!' Sure, it was smart but at the same time it was hilarious!

And the fact that the Joker actually escapes with Bruce's clothes on is tremendously funny in some strange, sick way...

Your kitten is ridiculously cute. Looks quite like a fluffy version of the one that belongs to my best friend's brother. His kitten is called Rex and is quite insane.

I say Christ on a bike all the time! XD It's one of my favourite "piss everyone off" phrases, apart from the ones where I just string random curse words together.

...Little did Batman know, the Joker was actually wearing hoverboots as he hurtled across the cave to freedom...

I just imagined a gazelle wearing face-paint and a big red nose... o.0 But a real gazelle wouldn't last five minutes looking like that in the wild. Unless it had a rocket chainsaw, or horns like that animal which lies down suddenly when it's tired, impaling the lion chasing it. Hey, just like those giant stabby horns at the end of The Lost Boys. :P

I can't believe Batman got a smacker from the clown AGAIN - and rejected him - AGAIN. I don't know if the Joker can take much more rejection.
