I think in this chapter your choice of Charakter as well as the teambuilding should have been different. Yuugao should have been in the mix aswell. Second there should have been some sort of conflict between them. Maybe they should have been in the same team. I also expected to see narutos sensei for windmanipulation again. He would be strong enough to compete with others and knows naruto and jiraya.

To continue with my previous comment, I don't like how you handle the situation with Naruto heritage. In my opinion, what you write really feel artificial with Naruto being barely affected by it. They hurt him deeply. And we are not talking about "we forgot your birthday" kind of wound but more like "we have lied to you all your life". The fact that Naruto did not seems to care make him appear like a emotionless machine, it just doesn't feel real at all. A human being capable of feeling emotions wouldn't be so accepting. In the end, the problem with what you write is : how can he continue to put his trust in people who have been betraying him for years ? Especially when their justification sound like flimsy excuses ?

I've always found the justifications to why Naruto was kept in the dark about his parents stupid. You can argue that hidding their identity from the village help in keeping him safe but how exactly keeping Naruto in the dark protect him ? They could have told him and ask him not to tell anyone. The argument about his mother being a target from kumo is frankly ridiculous. Naruto have the same family name as her, if kumo was so obsess about having an Uzumaki under their control they would have act, hiding his mother identity from Naruto achieved nothing.
