Just found this story and I'm amazed with it. Incredibly heartwrenching angst, but beautifully done. The mystery of our poor vampire is absolutely killing me already which is bad because I am imagining it's going to be a while before we learn anything significant. Great job with this!

Wow, your writing is so divine, the way you describe how scared the vampire is, I can literally feel these emotions and Bella is spot on. I can't wait to read more on this and look forward to the update, please keep them coming regulary.

Really am wanting to know what the Vampire's first words are. I won't call him Edward for fear that it isn't him. lol Please let this be Edward.

What a haunting, heartbreaking and lovely story. I'm hooked! What has happened to Edward? It seems to me that he has been subjected to horrid experiments in the name of science and finding out what he is. His venom is tainted, maybe to quell his thirst. I can't wait to find out. Thanks!

I'm happy that Edward (I'm just assuming that the vampire is Edward...) is starting to trust Bella. I love how you had her talking to him about her life, when she didn't even know if he understood her.

The whole scene at the end was wonderful. I really liked this line "I covered us both, and began stroking his quivering face with care that I didn’t even know I possessed." Thanks for writing!

I am new to this story finding it after seeing it promoted on the Twilighted forums. It has really captivated me so far. The plot is different; the characters gradually unfolding; and I love that it is all progressing slowly with time to appreciate the changes that are happening.

great chapter. I'm so interested in this story, it keeps me guessing. I like how he is responding to her, very cautious, but at least he's responding to someone. I'm wondering what happened to him. I'm thinking testing of some sort, seeings how he reacted to the syringe. Poor guy. well, anyways, looking forward to your next update. :)
