Through all the fanfictions I've read so far, this has to be the most heart warming scenes of them all. I don't know how or why, but it just really hit me at what point Edward is suffering. To see him sobbing like that, covered in wounds, god, it must be horrible! From what I'm guessing, he was held prisoner in some kind of lab or research facility...? Whoever did this is inhumanly cruel, and the worst part is I just know they'll come back to haunt our soon-to-be favorite family. At least Bella seems to have won his trust back & so much more. The way you described the scene, how Edward & Bella were holding on to each other, trusting the other to understand their pain and just be there, even though they just met, is amazing. I think you truly deserve a round of applause for the accomplishment this chapter is. Let me tell you, your slaving on it for those several days really paid off. And the part from the last chapter where you describe Jasper's pain in such great details, Pure genius! I once again feel the need to congratulate on such a wonderful chapter. I'll be waiting impatiently for your next update.

I like the slow build-up for the foundation of the story. Most people can't do it, but yours isn't at all boring. I think fascinating would be the more appropriate word choice. :]

I do love this chapter. The connection between the two is so intense. Crazy intense. It's heart warming to see edward start to get some comfort. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happened to him to bring him to the condition he's in.

Oh wow, just read the first 4 chapters, absolutly love it, so nice to see Bella doing the saving for once. I can't wait to read more of this and hear the vampire's first words.

I'm a new convert to this fic... I read it at Twilighted, but this site is just easier for me to mangage, so I'm adding it to my favorites.

I really love that Edward is the vulnerable one in need of massive amounts of healing and Bella is the one who is able to give it to him.

I'm a big fan of this so far and I can't wait for your next update. My one criticism is that I would have liked to know how Bella knew the Cullens were vampires. Maybe a flashback from Bella's POV?

Wow, I love your story. I love the idea you're using here, very intriguing. I wasn't sure when I was reading chapter one, because I thought it was strange that Alice would allow herself to be close to Bella.

But I love the parts with Bella and Edward. I love how Bella calms him down. It is really interesting to read something where Edward is the victim instead of Bella. And that fact that he is a vampire and she is human makes it even more interesting. Thanks for writing! Can't wait for more :)

Jeez, this story is really addicting! Such an original concept, and an AU, no less. There's such a lack of good vampire stories on this site, they all seem to be AH lately. The emotion translated extremely well into the story, and I can't wait to see where you're going to take this.

Wonderful! This is such a unique and interesting storyline. Out of curiosity, have you thought through the rest of the plot, or are you adding as you go along according to feedback? I'm hoping you don't abandon the story, because I can't wait until some of the mystery is solved! Lovely writing style...hoping the vampire will get some dialouge as well.
