That was just an awesomely sweet story. I loved how you captured Calvin's overactive imagination and how it evolved when he got older. Instead of Spaceman Spiff, now he's a POW, etc. You had me crying through the last quarter of it.

OMFG you have a Calvin & Hobbes fic, how is that even POSSIBLE. I haven't read it yet, I'm about to, but this makes you a shoo-in for my Favorite Authors pile. I'm sure I'll be doing that by the time I finish this story.

I'm 17, and I haven't read Calvin and Hobbes for years. Then, and you might know depending where you live, Hurricane Irene hit the East Coast and I was without power for three days. So I ended up reading Calvin and Hobbes in my spare time, suddenly recalling why I love Calvin so much. Though he's reckless and hates responsibility, he has a capacity for love that is exemplary in Hobbes, that stops his parents from completely hating him, and that is unwillingly there for Susie. So one of the first things that I did when I got power back was look for Calvin/Susie fanfiction. I can honestly say that this is one of the best pieces I have ever read. Thank you so much for writing this. I can tell that you love Calvin just as much, and probably more so, than I do.

Fan-freaking-tastic. This may be the most in-character Calvin/Susie fic I've read. Favorited.

Thank you SO much for writing this. I think I cried about 50 times reading this. This seems like the only way I could ever imagine Susie and Calvin ending up together. I don't know why but it just...fits. This is AMAZING and I am so happy I found this! I guess it would be more like reading than seeing, but anyways, seeing Calvin grow up the way you made him grow up seems like the PERFECT way to end the questions of him and Susie, and wondering what Calvin would be like when he grew up. Watterson ended Calvin's childhood perfect and you ended everything after perfect. My personal opinion of course, but still perfect through my eyes.

Manly tears. This story is amazingly awesome.

Such great characters and storytelling; it was really touching and was, by far, the best thing I've read on ffn so far. Please write more! Your stories are delicious and flawless.

I feel like I should take a moment to write some sort of detailed analysis for this story, but I find that I can't. Something about Calvin, your Calvin, who may as well be Watterson's Calvin, inspires impetuousness. So, I'll simply say this is one of the best pieces of fanfiction I've ever read, one of the best -stories- I've ever read, and it's absolutely criminal that it doesn't have ten gazillion reviews. It's sweet, psychotic, and utterly believable in ways that are, at the moment, beyond my ability to adequately describe. Well done.
